Here faculties are good in teaching and they help students.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen CSE(aiml) . Because i want master ai and land a hight package job . Currently the curriculum teaches Java and python at same time including physics, maths and human values The teaching methods are good but timing of the exams are not appropriate,

Placement Experience

Placements are good . Many companies like TCS, zomato, lenovo ,visit college for placements. This time TCS provided placements to 401 students highest package is 44 L and lowest is 3.5L. From 6th sem students are allowed for placement drive

Fees and Financial Aid

The Yearly fees for Btech cse(aiml) is 2.85L , same for cse(cybersecurity) , cse(data science) and for cse(IOT) . The fees for cse core /IT is 1.2 (these are the tuition fees) . Caution fees is 5k .provisional admission fees is 95k and it depends upon the branch you're choosing.The fees is increased yearly .

Campus Life

The college doesn't conduct any cultural fest. The library is vast and provide a large range of books to choose from.there are many clubs like art , music , dance, coding , drama . The college has its own sports event called SOA cup.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel provides a room with a bed (without mattress) , a study table and cupboard The quality of the food is okay . Every 4th Sunday the mess provides a grand dinner with numerous number of items The fees for 3 Bedded AC room is 1.35L including mess charges (yearly)

Hostel Fee: INR 135000 per year

Admission

I applied to other colleges through JOSAA counselling but due to low percentage in jee mains , I didn't receive any mails from other colleges. At last I chose to join ITER because i had hear it's a good private college for engineering which provides a decent placement. To get admission you need clear tha SAAT entrance exam . Which is their own entrance exam . After clearing the exam they will mail for the admission date

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:9. The faculty are welll behaved , they help students to understand the subject in anyway possible . Faculty of ACT is very nice . The midsems questions were easy but the end sem questions were moderate

Night Life

The college has a gym but it is small and crowded. It has cafeteria which has variety of food under budget. There park inside campus where students hang out .Hostel entry time differs from hostels to hostels like it's 7 pm for some hostels and for other its 8:30 pm or 10 pm

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Honest and Genuine review of NIT Rourkela

Placement Experience:

So the students become eligible for placemant usually from the 7th semester of the Btech which is from the 4th year and the internship opportunities are available from the 3rd year onwards that is from 5th and 6th semester. So in year 2024-25 the number of companies that visited The campus is around 330 And the total job offers offered is about 1200. So the highest package in the EC branch is about 1.2 crore per annum and the average package for the EC branch is around 13 to 14 lakhs. And the Profile of jobs are core electronics, VLSI and semiconductor roles ,system and embedded developments, software engineering, IT services, consulting and analytics. The percentage of student which are getting placed are in the range of 90 to 99% for ECE branch. The top recruiters are Apple Google, Microsoft, Amazon, wipro, Deloitte, Tata,Vedanta etc. After completing my degree in ECE from NIT Rourkela my plan is to join the core technology sector as a VLSI and semiconductor engineer in a reputed multinational Companies, leveraging the strong foundation and industrial exposure gained during my studies in case I do not secure a campus placement I aim to pursue the off campus opportunities in electronics, IT or analytics sectors. Alternatively I am open to perceive higher studies in MBA to specialize in the management sector.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

My Honest Review on my College

In my case I found this college to be the best for me because I was finding a good Law college and this College NIRF rank is 14th. The campus when I entered looked very fascinating. The faculties and staffs were very helpful. I was guided by my relatives that this is a good college for persuing law so I applied for this college. I gave the entrance exam of SAAT and was selected in the first list that was out for the selected students. I received a mail for the date of admissions getting opened. Soon I came for my admissions and I got my admissions done. I had to submit all certificates like the school leaving certificate, 10th and 12th boards marksheet, anti-ragging certificate etc. in xerox copies with small size 5 photos of mine. Everything that was required was mentioned in the mail that was sent by the college. I had not visited any other college or institutions but I had received a offer letter from SRM University Punjab for the law course.
