Course Curriculum Overview

2

I loved problem solving. It made me choose Computer Science Engineering. I also love working with people and leadership roles. the curriculum is fit for CS Fundamentals but they are not at all enough for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government quota (CSE): 700000 for course fees (4 years), *40000 for exam fees and some other fees. Management quota (CSE): 840000+donation for course fees (4 years), *40000 for exam fees and some other fees. Scholarships awarded to candidates with family income less than 250000. There is no merit cum need scholarship or whatsoever at our college.

Campus Life

4

We have so many cultural activities her in our college. Every year, we celebrate pongal and onum in a grand way. Also, we have fests like Talentia and Swagat (for 1st years). The library has books way too technical. They don't replace internet. We have good library protocols. 1st year students get smartboard in their class. We have excellent lab rooms and lab hours to work on ourselves.

Admission

This college was the only good autonomous college in inskirts of Chennai. There were no other colleges within Chennai that was as good as Easwari Engineering College. The main admission process is TNEA Counselling. Unlike other colleges, they put 50% of seats in Government quota. To join CSE, the base cutoff is 160 and it varies based on the community of the student.

Faculty

Faculty members are very approachable. They are quite friendly to students with natural talent. I love Mahalakshmi ma'am. I'm quite fond of her. She has been greatly supportive of me. I also like Devan sir, Indumathy ma'am, Ravichandran sir, Vinoth Rathan sir, Fatima ma'am, etc... There are a few faculties I don't like. Mostly because of their values. There's no personal dislike towards them. Exams are so easy and I don't think it gives any value to us to compete after college. The questions are way too easy and direct.

Night Life

4

They have cafetarias, library and food stalls. They offer variety of food like hot chocolate, tea, coffee, brownie, strawberry chocolate, puffs, and many others. The main cafetaria offers a variety of foods like parotta, chapathi, chicken biryani, chicken rice, noodles, fried rice, bajji, tea, lava cake, banana cake, donuts, chips, chocolates, etc... There are many restaurants near our college and they offer afforable meals.

Entrance Preview:

No, I didn't write any entrance exam. I have joined my college through Management Quota. I pursued BE Electrical & Electronic Engineering in the year 2015. During the joining period Management offered me some courses like BE(CSE,EEE, CIVIL) etc, but i have mindset to study BE-ECE(Electronics & Communication Engineering) So i requested to give this course but they refuse to give because of overfilled of that course. Then i have joined BE-EEE because both courses are merely same. I have studied & completed happily now.
