Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is very good. The curriculum prepares me for the real world applications and further academic pursuits well . Teaching method is now on the digital board with wifi connected.

Placement Experience

My plans after the degree is to do master's in Information Technology. The percentage of students getting placed is good. As per my friends and me the average package for the students is 3LPA as per our acknowledgement.

Campus Life

The annual festival that are celebrated are the annual sports day . Galexia i-Fest is the annual festival which is been organized every year . There are over many-n-many books which are accesible in the college library and another thing is we got smart elibrary which we can access through the phone .

Admission

The other college i have applied was tilak college and sies college of navi mumbai because there are so many fst and events that's the reason i have chosen the college over others . NO, I didn't recieve rejection from other college i have applied to. Addmision process of western college is simple and easy . The elegiblity exam accepted is HSC BOARD Exams

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 8:10. The faculty to student relation ship is very good and approchable Kuldeep Prabhu is a very good sir for the bscIT Students he is teaching right now in the 2024 -2027.

Night Life

We got a gym in the college which is accesible for all We got a cafeteria were we can chill out in the break and the off lectures There is a hostel for the girls in the campus.Campus timing is 7.30 AM to 5.30 PM

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

I chose this course because of the teachers who teach that. I had my siblings telling me that they love the way their teachers taught them. They make it so easy to understand and give you so much advice to grow and have great success. Also, this college is just a treasure of other curriculum activities. Once you got to know that they held those kinda functions over these years you can't resist and will participate in those functions. As it the course was difficult but teachers will make it easy they will guide you in any problem that you have and encourage you to learn more skills so you can be more successful.
