Course Curriculum Overview
Overall I found the course curiculum to be good in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The courses provided by the curriculum aligned with my career goals. Also the practice assignment, club activities and capstone projects were a driving force.
Internships Opportunities
They offer internship in different domains selected by the students. Companies like Aditya Birla, Dabur, Bajaj Capital Ltd, Amul, SMC global, BHEL etc offers internship to the students based on their domain preferences.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for campus placement in the 2nd year of the course after completing their internship. The are number of reputed brands and companies that visit ABS every year for campus recruitment. Few of them are Deloitte, Aditya Birla, Dhanguard, kPMG, Dabur, CII etc. Highest package offered by ABS is 25 lakh P.A and the average package is 8 lakh P.A this year. 100% students get placed. I will focus on building my career in corporate world after getting the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
My complete fee structure for the PGDM program was ? 7,95,000.where in the first year I paid ?3,95,000 in two instalments in the month of july and December and the rest 400000 was paid in second year in the month of April and November.
Campus Life
My overall experience with the campus life is satisfying. I made great friends here, enjoyed my free time with them, particupated in various extracurricular activities provided by the college like Promulgare case competition, atheleema, Marketing mela, debates and discussions etc.
Admission
I choose this college because it is providing the same course and other benefits at an affordable fee structure as compared to other colleges offering the same course and placement. I didn't get rejected by any college. I only interviewed for ABS and DR. DY Patil Business School and I choose ABS over DY Patil. There are 3 rounds first round is apptitude test followed by panel interview, and PI with Oxford Business College professor. To get admission in ABS you must hold a graduation degree in any course. The overall experience was good. I applied for the college through MAT entrance exam
Faculty
The faculties here goes beyond teaching as they provide mentorship as well as guidance. They listen to our queries and help us work on them in real time. All the faculties here are good and highly knowledgeable but most favourite faculty is Dr. Veenu Arora, I love the way she make us understand most complex topic in a most easiest manner thorough practical examples and she is always cheering us up when we feel stressed. There are basically 4 semesters with two exam in each semester Very few students fail to clear the exam as we get proper lectures for each subject and each topic are covered properly. The course curriculum are very relevant to our domain.
Interview Experience
Yes, I faced interviews and written test for the admission. The topic revolved around the current affairs, basic knowledge of the course opted in graduation, and real world situations. First I had to clear the aptitude test followed by panel round and PI
Night Life
The hostel is far from college, so there is no night life at college campus My favorite place to hangout in the campus is the college cafeteria where I spent most of my time. The classes start at 9:10 in the morning and ends at 4:10 in the evening. Famous hangout places in the campus are the cafeteria, sports arena and the waiting areas on every floor.
