Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate the course curriculum for my course as medium level. They are not too relevant for the modern needs in technological industry but they are not off track as well. But you have to concentrate on developing skills on your own.The exams difficultiy level is not too hard we can manage by studying a couple of days before the exam.

Placement Experience

4

I think the placements are good in Parul University and for a private University they are very good. They have students who have been hired by big MNC's like Apple,Google, Microsoft and etc.. Almost 60 percentage of students get placed in B tech with an average around 5 lakh CTC and students with good skills and potential are paid well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure can be divided into two parts, for the academic part tution fee is 150000 rupees per year but I have a scholarship of 30 percentage on sports quota so I pay 105000 per year tution fee and there will be miscellaneous fee of 25000 every year so I have to pay a total of 130000 rupees for the academic part and for the hostel part I live in Atal Bhawan B which has a fee of 79000 per year and extra 5500 rupees for safety deposit for damage control.

Campus Life

4

Parul University has a very good name for its cultural events.Events happen very frequently in univerity. The thing I like the most is festivals of every caste and community will be celebrated, so socially it is a very healthy environment .The campus life is good.We have a building called CV Raman building it is a 7 storey building which is full of computer labs so in technology Parul University is going hand in hand.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facilities are on acceptable level. They are good but we have to adjust in some issues. The maintenance is also good everyday the maid comes for cleaning and every month the workers inspet the room for repairs. There are may societies for living outside the campus. Some are even within a radius of 1km to campus.

Admission

I applied for Sastra University, Thanjavur but I couldn't get the desired course for B tech, so I started searching for colleges which provide the course I desired at a reasonable price. Then I found Parul University which has almost all types of courses and the fee seemed affordable for me. Admission can be taken directly by contacting the numbers mentioned in the website or they have admission offices almost all over the India.

Faculty

3

College conducts a Mid-Sem exam and End-Sem exam. The Mid-Sem exam is conducted for 40 marks of which is converted to 20 marks and gets added to our final semester score.Semester exam is conducted for 60 marks and there will be practical exams and Theory exams for the end sem while Mid-Sem has only theory exams. The student faculty relationship is not very good , most of the time we try to solve our issues on our own rathar than reaching them for help.

Night Life

5

My favourite place is PU Circle which is lit up with many colourful lights and we have our cafeteria there so it is a perfect place for an after dinner walk with our loved ones.We should report in hostel before 9:30 pm. Every hostel has person "RECTOR" assigned who will taking care of students while they are in hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
