Likes
- The campus life is lively and peaceful. They maintain the hygiene of college very well. Campus is soo good because of it greenary. I always sit in open spots to get some fresh air which relifes me from exams stress.
- The usage of technology is very good. Every teacher uses the projector for better understanding of the lessons.
- A complete organized timetable for the classes and exam. You won't be confused or change of tie table in middle.
Dislikes
- There are no trips or picnics with the classmates.
- Timings of the college will make you too busy. Classes can be start from 9 am and ends at 6pm.
- The amount they collect when you fail a subject is too high. The fee for supply is 6000rs which is too High. You have to pay 6k even it's your first time failing in a particular subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
I joined this course because Data Science is very essential for the present world. As I didn't get a seat for engineering I thought it would be good if I did a course of data science even it's a degree. And I can doo masters too here.
Internships Opportunities
Tata, accenture, whirlpool, google, yaahoo and many more. I don't know exactly about it because am an 2nd year student. Next year I will be in my internships. But there will be many chances for the internships.
Placement Experience
As am 2nd yr now, idk much about the placements but I don't hear senior are getting placements of 4lpa, 7lpa, above 10lpa. And there will be internship opportunities too in you final year. Next yr I will be doing my internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
For me the course fee is 58000 per year. And I am a day's scholar so I have to pay for bus too. For me it's around 50000 per year, it varies by distance. For engineering courses there will be reduction in course fee according to their aggregate marks in 11th and 12th std.
Campus Life
They conduct fest every year called VITOPIA and the ticket for it costs around 1500rs. They will also conduct VITAPP small fest too. The fest will be very grand. Other than that there will also small events regularly at the start of the academic year.
Admission
I chose this college because it is nearby my house. And it's a quiet good names college. For the admission you should have the minimum aggregate marks in 11th and 12th std which is 60%. And they conducted a online personal interview for me.
Faculty
They conduct two sems per year. Per sem you need to write 2 CAT exams and 1 FAT exam. It is only possible to pass only when you are a average student. Below average students may fail. And another thing is if u fail in one subject you need to pay 6000 rs to re write the subject even it is your first time. And faculties are quite qualified and well mannered.
Interview Experience
They conducted a PD through online. They asked some questions regarding statistics to me as am a data science student. And it is not very tough though. And the main criteria for the admission is the minimum aggregate marks in 11th and 12th std, which is 60%
Night Life
In night times it is safe inside the campus 100% as there will be sis guards(security guards) everywhere in the campus. They will be everywhere even in day times. Gym is available and it's costs 1200rs per month. Library is available in working days it is free and contains various books too. There are many open space to chat with frnds when you have free time. There also grounds for cricket, volleyball, throwball and also closed court for badminton.
