What Students Say

Likes

Things I liked about my college is the surroundings and pleasant area. The climatic conditions there are veyu good .
There is practical learning in the college . And the way teachers teaches very well .
The availability of equipment is far more enough for the students to learn .

Dislikes

The food provided by the college to hostelers is not so good . Everyone is not happy with the food they provide .

Course Curriculum Overview

My father was an civil engineer . He was a civil engineering student and now he's a surveyor . I choose this course to follow my father oocupation and that influenced me to choose this course . The frequency and timings of exam is good and difficulty level upto the minds of students .

Class Size: 59Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee to be paid is 15000/- . For the students who have scholarship they no need to pay their fees . They only have to pay their hostel fees which is 33000 for both non scholarship students also .

Campus Life

The infra structure our college is so big . It is completely green covered with many kinds of trees and giving a very pleasant vibe . Every program will be conducted and celebrated in the auditorium. They are conducting clubs too. The range and accessibility of books and journals available is suffiencieny for the students .

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities didn't match the expectations of students . The functioning of lights , and switch board is not so good in the rooms of the hostel . The meal quality also didn't meet the expectations of the students . Students are not pleased with the meal .

Hostel Fee: INR 33000 per year

Admission

I applied to all the goverment colleges i.e., every jntu. I choose JNTU for the better future of mine. Well , I got rejected by the other colleges of jntu cause I couldn't make to their expectations. I am good with studying in this college .

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is less . So there are guest faculty and new staff to teach the students . I like the faculty who comes to teach us and I don't know about the remaining faculty . Faculty make sure the the pass rate of students is more .

Night Life

There is no late night hangouts activities in our college as the institute gives more preference to the safety of the students who came to study here . College timings are 9 15 to 4 30. Famous hangout place is canteen which is inside the campus .

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visit with decent offers. Average package is good and many students get placed. After my degree, I plan to enter the tech industry.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

i applied to andhra university,jntu kakinada, SVU, JNTU anantapur through eamcet exam. my eamcet rank is around 20000, and though i didn't get admission in the top universities, i secured a seat at JNTUA college of engineering kalikiri. I choose this college because it is a government institution with a low fee structure, a peaceful campu and ample time to prepare for additional skills.Compared to private colleges, JNTUA kalikiri offers a better academic environment and credibility under JNTU anantapur. The admission process was offline. the eligibility required was completion of intermediate with MPC course nad eamcet exam should be qualified with the eligible rank Overall, the admission process was transparent and well organised . even though i couldn't make it to higher ranked colleges due to my eamcet score, this college turned out to be a good choice for me....Read More
