A Review of Adani University: Academics, Campus Life, and Beyond

The curriculum includes all the updates in the real world technologies. New technologies and languages introduced are included in the curriculum and taught very well. But for D2D ( lateral entry) students it gets tough for maths. As this university has a bit tough syllabus for maths. So D2D students have to take care of it, faculty also arranged extra class for them. Some faculties are a bit high in their pace for explaining, they need to slow a bit, so that the students can understand topics well. The exam frequencies are on time.

We were given project in database management subject, we were asked to select the project of our own choice in the beginning and we did work on the project throughout the semester in our lab, facultiy used to guide us and helped if any error occured or any major problems happened.

Students are eligible for campus placement in their 7th semester. Very reputed companies takes part in the campus placement such TCS, Infosys, AWS, Tech Mahindra and many more. Highest package offerd on campus was 24LPA to a student of ICT in 2023, and on an average 85% students are placed in the campus placement. Rest decide for their higher studies or goes for off campus placements in their favourable companies. My plan is to achieve a good placement in the campus placement in a company that gives a good package and position in their company.

Yearly fees for B.Tech CSE(AI-ML) is 181900 for 1&2 year, then it is decreased to 165000 for 3&4 year. Exam fees are 3500 per sem but the facilities and academic provided is as good as the fees they take, students can ask anything if they are in doubt, faculties are very good and supportive. The lab are very nice and up to date with the softwares and necessary equipments. Scolarships provided are MYSY & CMMS, they are government scholarship, eligible students can apply for it. Verification and help center for these scholarship is itself in the college. So it makes very easy in the application process.

ASPIRE fest takes place in the month of February every year, that includes sports activities, DJ Party. The library has a various amount of books on almost every topics relevant to the branch available in the university. Projectors, AC's, Speakers are present in the classroom and labs for the better understanding and convenience. Many coding clubs are run by students, mostly seniors that helps the junior in improving their skills and many hackathons and events are organised by the clubs and college.

I applied for L.D. engineering college (govt. Clg) and Nirma University but couldn't make because of not fulfilling their eligibility criteria. But I am happy enough that I got admission in this, this college was always on my list. It is in one of the top-3 clg in Ahmedabad. Admission process is done by ACPC, exams required are Class 12th => 60% and GUJCET/JEE, cutoffs keep changing every year.

Faculty for B. Tech are very friendly, and have a unique teaching style in their respective subjects, taught in a very student friendly manner with real life examples. So far the faculties that have taught us were very nice. If any student doesn't understand extra lectures are held if the student strength is more in size. If it is less, than those students are asked to go in faculty cabin and their doubts are solved there.

Cafeteria is very nice to chill and hangout, the hygiene and food is very nice and budget friendly for the students, mess is also available for students. No hostel is present in the college, but they have tie-up with mang private hostels and PG's, they help the students in the hostel admission. Campus timing are 9-5. The locality is very safe to roam around and hangout, it is located in a private place called Adani shantigram. The security and patrolling is always on for the safety.
