The institute has good ambience and structure with good facilities and faculties but their placements are not upto the mark because they have not provided me the opportunities of job till now but they are providing only trainings.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I have done MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management which is of two years course in which we have studied about hotel management as all the basic details on which hotel works as front office, food production, food and beverage service, housekeeping, accounting, finance, sales, etc. It's a good course but we have to start from scratch if u have not done job in this before.
Placement Experience
During the counselling session, they told that they have very good placements and job opportunities and always shown one or two examples of same person as of Maldives, their training or Internship is good but placements are not. I cannot expect placements from this institute.
College Events
An event which is celebrated yearly is known by the name "levitesse" in which all the games played by all the Institutes students at one place and there is a cash prize also in every game as an individual and for a team also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Talking about fee structure, it depends on the course you choose and also what scholarship you got. But yes it's costly compared to the other Institutes. As my fees is approximate Rs. 250000 which is comparatively high from others.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a scholarship program run by this institute in the name of kapil dev scholarship program in which you have to pass the scholarship test before admission process and according to the marks you score in the test, you got the scholarship.
Campus Life
Yes, this institute has labs for practicals as for Front office, there is a separate room with setup for practice, for food production, there is a kitchen for practicals, if talking about service department, there is a separate room with setup of bar for practicals.
Hostel Facilities
No, I have not opted for the hostel service but yes many of my classmates opted for the hostel services because they are from different places. The infrastructure is good with low prices and mostly all the facilities are provided to them.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are helpful in every thing required by us. Due to their experience and exposure in this industry gives us the opportunities to learn more and new things about this industry as and when required.
Admission
Firstly I go through the counselling process, than through scholarship entrance exam test in which the objective type questions were asked as of general knowledge, english, reasoning, maths. Then the admission process starts.
Faculty
The faculties are good and teach their students very well theoretically as well as practically. They have years of experience in their respective fields and yes very helpful as and when required by their students.
