Course Curriculum Overview

5

After getting BSc zoology degree, many options are open for the students Or if students want, they can also do MSC or prepare for some government job after BSc B.Sc papers are a bit tough in college and the teachers do not explain the length of the paper in detail to the students which is wrong, due to which the students are not able to write in detail in the paper

Fees and Financial Aid

I study in Kota University where there are many degrees like BSc, MSc etc. the fees here are very low in comparison to other universities I am doing BSc Biology degree from here. The fees of this course is Rs 2000 per semester, in which there are total six semesters.

Campus Life

4

There are many colleges in Kota University out of which I study in Government College Kota. Its infrastructure is very good and it is very neat and clean and the teachers here are also very experienced. classrooms are a bit small which makes it difficult to seat the students

Admission

I took admission in this college because it was near my home and I wanted to do B.Sc for which this was the best college as admissions are done on the basis of 12th. That is why every year admissions are open after 12th boards which are on percentage basis.

Faculty

5

The teachers of Kota university are very experienced and talented and the exams here are conducted semester wise, in which there are total six semesters in BSc And before every semester there is an internal examination whose marks are added to the result, each of which is of 30 marks, out of which viva is of 10 marks and after the main exams there are practicals as well. The main exam has a total of four subjects out of which one is a compulsory subject; each paper is of 70 marks, internal of 30 marks and practical of 50 marks means one paper is of total 150 marks.

Night Life

1

Government College Kota is a government college which closes at 4:00 PM. It has a library but that too closes along with the college. There is no nightlife in the college because the gates of the college are closed at 4:00 PM, hence no one comes to the college after that and there are no hostels here either.

As per my Opinion, Private Educational Institutions are good as well as bad in somewhat way. If we talk about Education then it's the best place to get a good quality of Education. They provide many facilities for students like the library to study and many more.

I cannot justify this college to be either bad or good it's perfect in its own way at first you may hate it for it not being matched to your expectations of movies and series but later on you will accept it for what it is and start loving it here.

Remarks:

There are a lot of positive things such as affordable fee structure, few good faculties and good amount of extracurricular activities, for negatives there are a few such as not all teachers are good enough, not many clubs or society, and average placement. The college has a high no. of students which provide good competition but sometimes feels crowded.
