All you need to know about Biyani

I would rate the B.Sc Biotechnology curriculum at Biyani Group of Colleges 7/10. It includes useful subjects like genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology, which influenced my choice as they are relevant for research and healthcare fields. The course builds a good base for higher studies like M.Sc and lab careers. However, it needs more internships, advanced practical training, and industry exposure. Exams are semester-wise with internals, practicals, and final papers. Difficulty is moderate, and regular students can score well

Since I am a first-year student, I do not know all the internship details yet. However, I have heard that many companies offer internships in roles like Software Development, Data Analysis, Marketing, and Business Development, sometimes with stipends. Seniors work on projects like web development, app development, and market research. I have also heard about a senior getting a package of 8 lakh per annum through campus opportunities.

I am from 1st year so I have no idea about the placement but my seniors are placed in big companies and are earning upto 9,00,000-10,00,000. After completing my bsc in biotechnology I will be starting my masters

My campus life at Biyani Group of Colleges was decent, safe, and friendly. Annual cultural events, fresher/farewell, and fests are usually held from January to March. The library has useful textbooks, journals, and reference books. Classrooms are clean with projectors, whiteboards, and basic smart facilities. Sports like cricket, badminton, volleyball, and indoor games are available, along with dance, debate, and cultural activities. Student clubs and committees help organize events and improve social interaction. Overall, campus life is enjoyable but more disciplined than highly vibrant.

I chose Biyani Group of Colleges, Jaipur for B.Sc Biotechnology mainly because it offered a good balance of affordable fees, easy admission process, decent faculty support, a safe campus environment and ita was the nearest college from my home. I had also considered other Jaipur colleges like IIS University, JECRC, and some Rajasthan University affiliated colleges. Compared to them, IIS University had a stronger reputation and better exposure but higher fees, while government colleges had lower fees but tougher merit cutoffs and limited seats. Biyani was more accessible and practical for securing admission quickly. I received confirmed admission from Biyani and some other private colleges, but I selected Biyani due to its reasonable cost and convenient admission process. I did not make it to some top options mainly because of higher merit requirements, limited seats, or delayed application decisions. The admission process at Biyani was smooth and mostly merit-based. For B.Sc Biotechnology, eligibility is usually 10+2 with Science stream (PCB/PCM) from a recognized board, generally with minimum passing marks. Most students get admission based on Class 12 marks rather than entrance exams. There is usually no tough cutoff compared to top universities, and seats are allotted on merit plus document verification. Overall, the admission experience is simple, student-friendly, and fast.

Teachers support students with notes, practicals, and doubts, especially in subjects like microbiology, genetics, and biochemistry. The course follows a semester system with internal assessments, practical exams, and university theory exams. Marking usually includes internal marks plus external semester exams. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and most regular students pass easily. Regularty matters a lot, and teachers are strick with attendance.

Rajya is one of the most exciting festivals on our campus, celebrated from day to night with great energy and enthusiasm. It brings students together through music, food, games, and cultural events. During the daytime, the campus is full of activities like competitions, workshops, sports events, art stalls, and fun games. Students visit cafeterias, open areas, and activity zones to enjoy the festive atmosphere. As evening begins, the festival becomes even more lively. The campus lights up with decorations, food stalls, and crowds gathering for performances. Popular hangout spots include the main ground, central lawn, cafeteria area, and stage zone.
