Remarks

The Academics are very strict and no tolerance is accepted in attendance. Those students who are performing are supported by all the faculties. The Library facility is very good. The location of the college is in Ashta which is not so developed city but it also gives advantage that our expenses become less.

Course Curriculum Overview

The College has Autonomous Status. The Curriculum is purely designed as per the industry needs. Those who are interested in Entrepreneurship a separate 4 Credit Course is also available as elective. Every Semester has one Programming Language, Professional and Communication Activities. Total 4 exams are conducted in one semester, In Semester Exam-1, Mid Semester Exam, In Semester Exam-2, Final Semester Examination. There is relative grading system and CGPA in College.

Placement Experience

The most of the Placements are in IT Based Companies. Core Companies also are in the recruitment process but the salary offered by them is less. College has MoU signed with various Industrial Estate Organizations through which students get Internship Opportunity most of them are unpaid.

College Events

College Organzies two Central Level Technical Events, Innovation and Discovery. Every Department also organizes Technical and Non Technical Events. Every Festival is celebrated in college. Especially the Ganesh Festival and Shiv Jayanthi are celebrated with full enthusiasm. We have a social theme for these festivals. Annual Gathering is organized for 3 days every year. Debate Competitions are also organized.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee for First Year Engineering Students is Nearly Rs.110000. Which includes tuition fee of Nearly Rs.80000, so we get EBC and other scholarships and the fee is nearly Rs.62000, the fee structure is same as that of other Engineering colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the Scholarships applicable from Government of Maharashtra and Government of India are available in College. The Economic Backward Class and OBC students get the 50% concession in tuition fees. The SC, NT, ST and TFWS students get 100% concession in the tuition fees.

Campus Life

College has very big playground with a Multi facility Sports Complex which has a Basketball Court, 4 Badminton Courts, Snooker, foosball, Table Tennis Rooms, Carrom room, Chess, a gym, a music and yoga room. The sports complex has very lavish infrastructure. The College has its own cultural club and the bags prizes regularly in the Youth Festival. The Labs have all the required equipments and machineries.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel Facility is Excellent. 3-4 students per room with attached Toilet and Bathroom for every room. The hostel has 24×7 wifi facility. Hostel Maintenance and sweeping and cleaning is carried out daily. Each floor has 2-3 workers for cleaning. There is security guard for each hostel. There are two hostels for boys and three hostels for girls.

Alumni/Alumna

We have Alumni meet annually and the Alumni are invited on regular basis for interaction with the students. Every department has its own alumni interaction cell, the alumni help in placements and internships also.

Admission

I had Registered for the Maharashtra State Higher Technical Education, on dtemaharashtra portal. The Admission Criteria was MHT-CET and 12th Marks with 50% Weightage to it. I filled up the option form for the choice of my colleges. Through CAP Round 1 I was allotted Annasaheb Dange College of Engineering and Technology (ADCET). After the Cap Round Procedure finished I went in college and completed the admission procedure which took Nearly 1.5 hrs.

Faculty

In Kolhapur Division, it has the highest number of Faculties. The average age of faculties is in between 29-40, with some higher experienced faculties in every department. Many faculties have PHD while many are pursuing.
