- If you go to college with your private vehicle there is no parking facility.
- There is no mess or canteen in the College.
- No fresher or farewell parties and annual events are organised in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have history and sociology as my major subjects in BA and i chose history as my major because i wanted to prepare for civil services. The course curriculum is very much comprehensive and relevant for the history optional of UPSC CSE.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like LIC and some other private companies of Kanpur come for Internship and minimum stipend is from ?10000 to ?25000 per month. But i did not take part any internship and Placement as i am planning for Higher studies.
Placement Experience
From 5th sem or after completing the degree students every year college organises the rojgaar mela for students. I am planning for my higher studies and i am also going to appear for the UPSC CSE in the upcoming year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for the BA courses starts from ?3500 and maximum fee is ?5500 depends how many practicals are included in your course. If you apply for scholarship you have to attend classes regularly to get the criteria fulfilled and in Scholarship you get your tution fee amount back in your Bank account.
Campus Life
Infrastructure of the college is old but good and very well maintained. We also have Yoga clubs, Hindi and English debate clubs, and NCC in our college. The college library is very huge and almost every book is available here and you can also get daily newspaper and weekly magazines in the library.
Admission
My elder brother also graduated from this college so i also chose this college and the college has a very good reputation as the former Prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji and former President Ram Nath Kovind ji are notable alumni of our college.
Faculty
The Faculty of the college is undoubtedly very good and they have very good expertise in their subjects. In Sociology department Seema Kher mam is our favourite faculty. The exams are not vey difficult and almost every student clear the exam.
Night Life
The college is located near Civil Lines and near Green Perk of Kanpur. College timing are 09:00 am to 04:00 pm. I don't know very much about the hostel. Z square mall and Baba Anandeshwar temple (Parmath mandir) is very famous near our college and there are also very good coffee cafes to visit.
