My college

Our teachers trains us well for upcoming exams which makes most of the students to pass exams. SNDT Women's University is a well known university in Mumbai and it provides good theoretical education as well as clinical education as it has different departments but I belong to the nursing department and for sure it is the best one as it not only educates us but also provide good future opportunities. Talking about their exams, at a times they are difficult but if one studies well and prepares themselves they can easily pass them with good scores.

For the first year I paid-16,375/- (reserved category) and open category has fees of amount 80,000/-. Our college also provide us scholarships like sutti scholarship and scholarship from the sna committee.

Our college has many programs throughout the year like sanskriti fest, talent fest which are held by the sna members. We also have sports days but as i am in first year I didn't attend any yet. Our college has nss team which also conducts, blood donation camps, awareness programs etc.

I didn't applied for other colleges but I have had gave entrance exam like mht cet nursing and also got good percentage through which I could get a government college for nursing but as L.T college of nursing (SNDT WOMEN'S UNIVERSITY), conducts a entrance exam each year for hsc passed students, I too applied for the same and got selected among 240-250 candidates. Each year 50 girls are selected through their entrance exams and are admitted to the college. Their exam has several rounds as- Aptitude test, group discussion, hearing skills, general knowledge test, practical test and personal interviews.

Our faculty never fails to encourage, motivate or to guide us and are always there to clear our doubts. Almost all the faculty is good but my personal favourite is rojiya shinoy maam and she is the best one for sure. There are not any of them I dislike as they are excellent in their own teaching way. Talking about exams, our syllabus is a semester wise pattern so we have two exams each year that is after every 6 months we give 1 semester exam that is our university exam and in between that we also have units tests, presentations, assignments through which we gain internal marks

We have library which is till 5.00 pn and also canteens which provide with breakfast and lunch. We have badminton court where we can enjoy sports like badminton, boxing and also yoga. Hostel timings is till 8.00 pn in the evening after none of the hostellite can go out the campus. Famous hangout places- Marine lines, crawford market, colaba causeway, fashion street and gateway of India
