Banasthali vidyapith, more good less bad

I had a high interest in cyber security and since i was a student of commerce stream, bca seemed like a feasible option to pursue a career in computer science. The curriculum is well defined but not as much updated as i expected. The curriculum and techniques of teaching need to be a little more modern as the world around us is daily evolving. Periodical examinations are occurred in the gap of one month covering partial syllabus and then main end semester examination occur covering the whole syllabus. Periodical exams help us prepare better for the final examinations. The difficulty level is moderate, although external practicals can be a little tough sometimes.

Bca students dont get many internship opportunities since now i have only got just 1 opportunity for internship in accenture company with 8000 per month stipend. We get 1 project per semestee, which turns out to be very helpful for our overall resume and we get better knowledge of our studies by practically doing it.

Bca students do not recieve very good placement opportunities, the highest package has gone upto 17lpa after working really hard and only 4 students till now have achieved it. Average package is 6lpa maximum. There is almost 90% students get placed no matter what. I plan to persue mca from a college that has its course a bit updated and has better placement options

I pay rs. 3,16,000 per annum, with my hostel fees includes that is rs. 55,000 per annum. Various types of annual and technical fests take place in every department of the campus. Each department organizes its own fest. Banasthali has been in top 5 globally in youth festival from past many years. Banasthali has 5- fold education system which focuses on aesthetic, physical, moral, practical and intellectual education of the students. It is a very very great initiative taken by the university which helps the girls empower and gain confidence along with getting their education.

Hostel facility is very good, very good infrastructure, healthy and clean food, food quality is good, furniture provided is good, very neat and clean environment, wardens are also very friendly and try their best to provide us with a healthy and peaceful environment to study and live.

I applied in lovely professional university for bca and no i did not get a rejection from lpu but banasthali seemed like a better option because of the security and safety purposes. Admission process of banasthali is you need to complete you 10+2 with minimum 55% marks and a stream of your choice but should have had maths or computer in your +2. My overall admission experience was nice.

Teachers are helpful and well known and learned regarding their respective subjects, very supportive environment. Faculty of department of mathematics is very supportive and helpful speciall dr. Isha, was my professor of mathematics in 1st year and she helped me a lot, was very kind and supportive in class. But the based office known as vani mandir has a very very ill behaved faculty and dean of computer department has a very ill behavior. In a semester of 6months there are 3 exams held, two of three are periodicals and are of 10 marks, and in the end of the semester we have main examination 60 marks each. Before main examination we have practicals both internal and external for all the students that have practical subjects in their curriculum.

We dont get campus outings but our campus is very large, 800acres of land approx, which is very beautiful and green along with canteens and various spots filled with nature. But not giving the campus outing is a very very big con i think. And specially there is nothing outside the campus except barren fields and village far far away. Hostels are very nice, very good infrastructure and overall hostel life is very good, but since its regarding the night life then i don't think this college has a night life. In so much need to be updated as soon as possible
