The college campus is very safe as it is a women's University.No ragging is allowed within the campus
There are lots of clubs and society such as music, dance, media culture etc.Which allows students to exlore various fields
The curriculum is very good , faculties are very supportive

Dislikes

There are minimum seat in hostel,due to which many students have to reside outside the campus
There are very less no. of permanent faculty

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is as per NEP 2020, which allows students to exlore there interest in different subjects which allows them to face real world, helping them to solve real life problems . the curriculum would be better if the college will allow students to investigate the topics and make their own research project.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 3815 per year

Internships Opportunities

As a first year student I don't have any experience about internship opportunities but I have heard from the seniors that college provides on campus internships which further help them in job interviews

Fees and Financial Aid

I deposited an amount of 3815 rupees at the time of first selection to the sams official website .It may or may not increase with time. The fees structure is very affordable since this is a government University

Campus Life

There are different clubs and society such as music, dance media culture etc which allows students to exlore various fields. College infrastructure is well developed,it involves air conditioned smart classrooms, computers labs, common room, library etc.

Admission

I chose this college due to the academic environment it provides, there is a ragging free environment, seniors are very friendly and the faculty members are supportive. The hostel are very much hygienic and provides quality food which is not available in hostels of other colleges

Faculty

Exams are organised by the university itself.it follows the curriculum as per government of odisha.All the faculties are highly educated and well trained teachers , faculties are very supportive, they are quite approachable, Exams are quite easy as per the curriculum

Night Life

The locality is very safe as it remains crowded till late night ,but for hostelier it is not possible to roam till late night, since the hostel gate closes at a particular time, mostly between 6 -7 pm

If a student don;t have any backlogs and securing more than 60 percent in those 5 semesters then he/she is eligible for campus hiring. For my MA degree I applied for CPET exam , and my score was 65.7 which was moderate. I got selected in few colleges but they were distant from my house. Little research on our college

Someone need atleast around 70-75% in their 12th boards to get into this college as far as bcom is concerned which is my branch. No cuet score is needed to join this college. One can find the informations regarding application form , course fees , application fees and dates in sams portal which is Odisha's one portal platform to get into government colleges for their respective domain which they are willing to pursue. The semesters are being held in each 6 months and prior to 1-2 months of the main semester there is a internal exam.
