Reviewing and exploring Andhra University

there are nothing special aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course. its quite same as every other college. im interested into Cse so i chose it. Self study is most important thing. to build real world applications and projects, the syllabus given is not enough , you have to learn skills ur own but the syllabus definitely helps for further studies.

Top recruiting companies are Accenture, Wipro, IMEG, TCS,Tech Mahindra,Amazon, Concentrix, Infosys. The major roles offered are SDE , Developer , Data Analyst. The NIRF ranking of Andhra university is 76 in 2023. The NAAC accredited AU as A++ grade in 2023 and with a cgpa score of 3.74.

i think its from the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. companies like JP Morgan, Tcs , Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra etc visit to our college. the highest package offered is 84lpa from Atlassian and the average package is around 5 to 6 lpa. the of students getting placed is 70%. my plans after getting a degree is to get a job or do Mtech

The year-wise fees I have been paying is 2 lakhs.For the first year its 2,08,000, where 2,05,000 is tution fee , and 3000 is the admission fee. This is the fee structure for CSE students who wrote AUEET examination.The application fee for this exam is 1200. from the second year the tution fee is 2 lakhs. The semester exam registration fee will be 1350/- and that will be 900/- from the 3rd semester .The fees is less for students through ap eapcet counselling.

Annual fest is called department day , last year's department day is named Connect2k24. we also have ethnic day before department day.This fest includes all cultural , tech, sports and also gaming. Most of the books are available in library. Every class room has a smart board and a white board but the projector facility is not there. For sports and extracurcular activities , we have clubs such as dance , music, sports, theatres, arts, socio, codeiam( for the tech) . I'm into music club . every year the club heads recruit the 1st years into the clubs by taking auditions.

Other colleges i have applied are Amrita and Vit.I have selected for Vit-AP and Vit-Bhopal but the college fees is too high and even the hostel fees . I've got rejected from amrita because i didnt get good score. There are 2 categories of admission . the first one is through eamcet counselling where students write AP EAPCET and the other one is through AUEET counselling where students write AUEET exam.There is a slight change in the cutt off rank every year but mostly it is below 1000 or 1500 for OC.

Faculty to student relationship is very good.They clarify our doubts whenever they are free. my favourite faculty is professor Adinarayana Rao sir who taught us Data structures. there are some who are not student friendly. every semester we have 2 mid sem exams and one final end sem exam. out of the 2 mids , the best performed will be finalized. The exams difficulty level is moderate and not many students fail to clear the exams .

I'm a Dayscholor so I don't know the night life. The Cafetarias are the canteens in the college which have cool names as "Breeze" , "Go-ssip" , "Hotspot" etc.. The library timings are from 9 Am to 8 Pm. the famous hangout places in college are the canteens and outside the college are some malls and the nearby beach.Absolutely , the locality is safe to roam around at night.
