Likes

The things i liked about my college is that students of every good schools take admission in this college so its good to interact with them and also the scope for students pursuing computer science can pursue a good career after graduating from here.
Also many bollywood celebrities visit our college and our college fest is the best in the city

Dislikes

Things i dont like about my college it does not provide a good campus placements for students of mechanical and civil engineering background.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite good as they prepare through out for the main exam and the main exam by the university are of good difficulty level but as i was pursuing mechanical engineering so the exams of certain subjects were quite tough compared to other courses .

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

When i was in the college the fees was 30000 rs per semester for any engineering course and yes there were some scholarships for sc, st, obc but excluding the obc student whose parents are working for government departments.

Campus Life

The campus is quite good as canteens, stationery, coffee shop every necessary things are already inside the campus you dont need to go outside the campus for anything, the infrastructure of the college is great every sports field like basketball, football and cricket are provided in the campus.

Admission

This college has great atmosphere for pursuing engineering as compared to the other colleges in our city. The facilities and activities provided in this college are quite good which can groom you for a bright future. For admission in this college you need above 60% in 12th and after that you need to fill the form.

Faculty

The faculty members are highly educated as i can remember our HOD was graduated from iit so the faculty is good. Exams are conducted at the end of every semester and also 3 mid sem exams are conducted.

Night Life

There is no nightlife in this college as there are no hostels in the campus and the college is located at outer of the city so there is no such great cafes around but a radison and itc hotels are there just in front of the college.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... I'm planning to give upsc exams after graduation

Placement Experience:

Not much helpful in terms of placements.not very big MNC companies visit there and average packages are not much high the faculty will not guide you about placements you have to prepare on your own and apply for offline placements.
