Course Curriculum Overview

3

There was no specific aspects to choose bcom because for Middle class this is basic graduation The curriculum is good and learned the real life problems and basic solutions for corporate and business which is required for entrepreneurship and professional growth. Need to have industry standard curriculum and real life problems solving skills which working at corporates should be taught. The frequency of exams would be almost for 15-20 days. Including holidays. And the difficult subject was accounting

Placement Experience

3

Basically in our college all the students will be eligible for placement after 5th semester only. Dell, hp and mphasis. The highest package is given - 5LPA The lowest is 2.5 LPA On average - 60-95% I did my degree and moved into hr and now I am into recruitment field with recent package. But I didn't chose to go with 2.8lpa offer from placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically I chose bcom and it was around 25K for first year and for second year 29K and final year it was 30K And along that admission fees per semester - 1500 Which is almost - 9-10K Adding to that I availed National scholarship scheme of 10K for year... According to my Course and financial ability. It was very affordable

Campus Life

4

Campus Life was good - Essay competitions - poetry - painting - photography The library is accessible for every student with pass which they provide and we can gets the books which is required for self improvement and studies as well. We have computer classses where tally and basic computers course was taught. We used to have culture program which includes. Indoor games and outdoor games as well. And annual sports program and freshers day and graduation days and annual function was held once In a year and sendoff parties And we also collaborated with other colleges for sports like cricket and volleyball and foot ball. And we also went for NSS which impact the social culture activities.

Admission

I didn't apply for other colleges because of financial situation ????.. I had my dream to do software engineering but unfortunately I didn't. I completed my 11th and 12th in the same college and that is reason. Continued my graduation as well. When we compare to other colleges in our surroundings this college has very low fees I didn't not apply for other colleges The admission process was very easy handle. Registation form Pay theek minimal amount And we have the option where we can pay monthly fees There was no cut off as such. If we have 50% we are eligible for admission

Faculty

4

The faculty was available for every student. We were able to approach any point of time. Gayatri mam and shabnam mam and rahima mam. Chetan sir who is the master of accounts. They were strict but approachable at any point of time. There were few faculties where used to take classes once in a week and these subjects were options marking and cultural activities On an average we used to have 7-8 papers. Example, english and hindi. Finance, marketing, business and accountancy Bcom and is not too hard study and also not not very easy. The pass percentage was almost above 75% Curriculum is bit old when we compare to current industries

Night Life

3

There was no gym. However we used to have small cafeteria for lunch around the campus Library as well. The timings is 9AM - 4PM Hangouts places near me is Udupi kitchen, bbmp parks, and cricket place ground and nearby we have fun world Yeah these are the safe places

I would rat 8/10 as the course was pretty good, I learnt eaverything in my B.com, whether its abut marketing, finance, sales , accounts. So basically it included everything a student needs in their graduation. I suggest that there should have been regular classes with encourages student teacher interaction.

Remarks:

In our period it was prestigious to study commerce stream in our college and had good rating for the course and the for students who passed out from that college. The management had good lot of concern about the poorer section of the society and hence kept the fee structure at a very nominal level and thus help to get education for all
