Review on Anits

I actually have no idea why I have taken this branch.As I got this in counselling i joined here.But after joining I have learnt so many things about this course and about life. There will be labs like English lab, programming language labs,workshops ,etc where they prepare you to face the real life challenges In English lab they conduct jam sessions, group discussions,self introduction,etc where we can improve our communication skills and gain confidence. The exams are conducted more frequently.

The fees for those who joined through management is about 3,50,000. For those who joined through EAMCET counselling the fees is around 1,00,000. The tution fees is 80,000 and exam fees is 21,000. Those who have fee reimbursement need not pay the tution fees i.e80,000. They just need to pay 21,000. The fees structure may vary from year to year

There will be only one fest every year . The campus life experience is not so good since there is nothing else but study. People who just want to study and don't want any distractions can happily come and join i Anits. Students can take books from the library for their studies and return it on a certain date. There is also a digital library. There are projects in classrooms where the faculty uses them and teaches effectively . There is not more scope for sports or extra curriculars. The ground is always occupied by boys and girls don't even get a chance to play . There is NCC and sports Club.

I have preferred Anits over other colleges because the campus placements are good in Anits as compared to other colleges. After gvp ,anits is best college in vizag. With my rank in EAMCET I wouldn't get a seat in gvp ,so I joined in Anits. But this college is also no less than gvp .Both are almost same and both are autonomous bodies under Andhra University.The practical knowledge on subject is mostly focused as compared to others.

Though the faculty teaches the topics that are in the syllabus,they don't have deep knowledge on the subject which is a bit sad .(Not everyone but some of them) For every year there will be 4 mid exams and 2 semester exams. After every 2 mid exams there will be a semester exam. The marking scheme is that they take 60 marks from semester exam and 40 (20 each from mid exams ) .The exams are moderate and one can perform well in their semester exams if they do well in their mid exams

For campus hostelers,we can say that there is no night life as they are not allowed to roam even in the campus. And for first year students (girls) they close the hostel gates at 9:00 pm. There is no gym for first year students but second year onwards there will a gym. There are some stalls like store ,chinese kitchen, maggie hotspot,etc and canteen where we can peacefully sit and eat at night. The hangout place inside the campus might be the canteen and the hangout places outside the college is bheemili beach which is just 20 mins away. The locality might be safe to roam at night.
