Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which I choose are Journalism and Communicative English which is the perfect one if you want to be a journalist or even if you want to enter the corporate world the course is not just theoretical but more practical or I can say it makes you ready for the real world competition. The only thing I felt is in the syllabus you study things repetitively I mean in both subjects the concepts are almost similar but taught in different semesters. If this changes and if they could include more concepts than the repetition it would be great.

Internships Opportunities

5

There is lot of chances when it comes to internship where teachers themselves guide you to choose the right internship which suits you personally and helps you grow and learn real world challenges with the experts in the specific field you have choosen and also if you perform well in the internship teachers actually help you get the placements in that firm..

Fees and Financial Aid

The actual fee structure for BA courses is so low compared to other colleges ie. 25000 rupees and if you have scored above 80% and above in your 12th grade you will get the concession which is 3000 and then you have pay only 22000 per year and the fee is same every year until you graduate.

Campus Life

5

Overall I liked this college it has a cozy and peaceful ambience. great management especially these days it has become so professional.. and supportive teachers and well organised library and neat and clean corridorsand washrooms. It even has the career guidance committee who are supportive and ready to answer any of your questions related to your career and higher studies. Overall it's a great place to be in..

Admission

The reason why I joined this college is onid of complicated as I came from science background but my passion for journalism to me to this college. before this I applied for NMKRV where I studied my PUC but in the last moment they said I can't opt arts and suggested to take science in an impulse I applied here but I can tell though it was impulsive I made a right choice. The fee structure is less and the addmission process was like cake walk I didn't worry much I just paid my fees and they helped me with both offline and online admission as it is affiliated with BCU.

Faculty

5

Amazing teaching staff, experienced and expert teacher with lots of insights about the subject and very supportive both in academics and other things .... Especially if you need any career guidance or anything related to your academic or career oriented doubt they are ready to answer it any time ... Especially my journalism teacher Sushma ma'am she is amazing and my favourite one.... When it comes to exam it is organised systematically and very strict interms to procedures... They make sure that the exam is conducted ethically...

Night Life

5

The night life is almost similar to the day because it has both the day and evening college which goes upto 9PM and it has no cafeteria but if you are studying in the night or if you are evening college students they have the free meal service which can help students focus on their studies even more and it helps to keep themselves healthy and the college also has the gym room which has all equipment and the guide you can be part of ot and have a fit and healthy body...

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.

Remarks:

I liked the course provided by this college. The subjects are different for every semester and the aura is splendid. This college provides a very good faculty which not only is good at keeping up with academics, but also is great in keeping a good rapport with their students. There is a whole variety of extra curricular activities which brings out the core personality of every student. I for a fact, had stage fear. But after I chose MIC, I really started getting over it.
