What Students Say

Likes

The things I liked is the nature of faculties over here
And the way of academic curriculum the university follows
And also the coding culture of the college

Dislikes

The management is quite poor and not respondable
The food for the other state students over here is not managable
I think one more disliked some hostel which are old ones are not that well maintained

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum Is quite simple I like most of the things in curriculum is the assigning of internal marks.the curriculum is time to time updated to the new upcoming technologies in real world. The improvement in curriculum would be to replace the other unwanted subject or non promotional subjects that are mentioned in each semester the exam level is quite moderate

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 345000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6 th semester the students are quite eligible for placements highest package for our senior batch is 47 lpa by Microsoft and the average is 4 lpa In our senior batch 80 percent of students got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I pay is 345000 and the tution fee is 125000 there is no admission fee if someone opt for ac hostel allotment then they pay 60000 more there is scholarship provided by college if u maintain more 8.5 cgpa in throught the semester and maintain 80 percent of attendance

Campus Life

As now our university doesn't contain any fest culture over here and the library contains wide range of books in huge quantity so there is possibility to access books by every student. The classrooms are well maintained and they are smartclassrooms. Yes college provides good sports facilities along withe quite appreciated cultural activities

Hostel Facilities

In 3 seater room there is cupboard and a cart given and also a study table along with chair is provided. I would rate the meals provided by the hostel is 3/5 and the proccy of hostel accommodation is done by the university

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I applied AIT pune where I got selected for mechanical branch but my family was not that satisfied by that course they refused to join me there.the admission process of our college is through the university entrance exam that is named as Saat exam and there is possibility of admission through jee mains also

Faculty

The faculty ratio is 1:40 and the relationship between faculty and atudent is quite good and the faculties bare well qualified. The faculty I like most is the MR shankar sir who was our dsa teacher I like his way of teaching. The university mainly focuses on two exams one is mid sem and other is end sem the exam difficulty I quite moderate

Night Life

There is a quite good gym provided inside university and the cafeteria is huge contains wide range of food stalls basically my hostel is bh 12 the in timming is 10 pm . Inside the college the hangout places would be e garden and sports complex

IIIT Bhubaneswar means technology!

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Google, Wipro, HCL Tech and many such which has been around for a while in the tech business and has built tech for many overseas companies too are the ones which have already started coming. I am in my final year and around 40% students have already been recruited and I hope before this semester ends, i too get placements.

Our college give good placement but packages are very low package start with 150000 and end in 700000 . But you study properly then you try pursuing higher studies. 40% students placed but below 400000 . after completing you try off campus placement then you secured good salary on good company.

placements are average...not feels like an iit but its ok ...this yaer percentage of placement was 90% and highest ctc was of 67.4 LPA with median of 12LPA and average of 17 LPA ...most of the placements for SDE roles. My plan is to finish my degree as soon as possible and get placed for a SDE role so that i can survive

The placement stats of IIT Bhubaneswar are quite good. For the 2025 placement season, the highest CTC was 67.6 LPA and the mean CTC was 14.5 LPA, with a total of 22 PPO offers. Approximately 90% students were placed this year. Major recruiters were Google, Oracle, Zomato, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA and Meesho. This year, there were 5 international offers (4 from Accenture Japan and 1 core offer from Niterra Japan).

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is descent. Some of the student opt for higher studies. Almost 80% get placed with good packages.some goes for gate exam. I also know a senior who have gate AIR of 42. I am planning for gate along with my degree.companies like Hpcl , cpcl, exon mobil usually come here for recruiting.

My Honest Review on my College

In my case I found this college to be the best for me because I was finding a good Law college and this College NIRF rank is 14th. The campus when I entered looked very fascinating. The faculties and staffs were very helpful. I was guided by my relatives that this is a good college for persuing law so I applied for this college. I gave the entrance exam of SAAT and was selected in the first list that was out for the selected students. I received a mail for the date of admissions getting opened. Soon I came for my admissions and I got my admissions done. I had to submit all certificates like the school leaving certificate, 10th and 12th boards marksheet, anti-ragging certificate etc. in xerox copies with small size 5 photos of mine. Everything that was required was mentioned in the mail that was sent by the college. I had not visited any other college or institutions but I had received a offer letter from SRM University Punjab for the law course. But its was too far enough for me to travel and go for studies for such a long course of 5 years. So I choose Siksha 'O' Anusandhan collage and I never regreted for my choice....Read More
