Likes

Teachers are very my friendly and support us at every step
College is very much supportive in all the activities
We have a good placement cell and regular training lectures

Dislikes

College infrastructure is really old and they do not upgrade anything until its NAAC visit
The overall crowd of college is not good at all
Teachers arent that much trained and good at teaching

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching techniques are really old fashioned likr imagine studying codes on a black board . We still code on notepads and not on any IDEs its all old fashioned and there is no upgrade even the syllabus is outdated

We have a good training and placement cell where they start our training from the second year itself . There are some good vacancies in the college and the training and placement cell keeps track of off xampus placemnets too

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is according to the caste as im from General category my fee every year is 67,000 and reservation students pay half of my fee . Total fee i needed is around 4lakh over the course of four years . It depends on caste and marks

Campus Life

Infrastructure of the college is really bad its all old and unhygienic there is no cleaning of classrooms or the camlis and the social Life is also not soo good for any good students . College is full of

Admission

I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in my city and is under savitri bai phule pune university which is a recognised university also my college has good placements and the staff is supportive

Faculty

We have four exams in a year that are two insems and two endsems . One insem and endsem each semester. We follow the exam system of savitri bai pune university and passing majorly depends on scores in insem

Night Life

There is no nightlife in or around of my campus if you live in hostel. In hostel the time of closing is 8pm that means u cant go out or enter tue college if you are a hosteller but if u live outside u have a good nightlife

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

Placement Experience:

our college has motorsports clubs so if you are in those clubs you will get very high reputation while the placements. one concern you have to consider is that the will have total 3 campus for the placement drives so the crowd is very high.

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students can sit for internship drives in college. Companies like BMC, Rapid7, TCS, Capgemini, Accenture ,Barclays visit our college, mostly the hire for SDE role and give traning to selected students. Highest package is 61 LPA and average is 7-8 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed vary each year. I am planning to sit for placement.

From seventh semester ,students are eligible for placements. Companies like tcs, infosys, cappgemini, accenture are common for hiring. Almost 60 percent strudents get placed. My plans after degree is placement plus MS/MTech if a good gate score.
