Likes
- The ratio of girls to boys is actually pretty great, as growing women empowerment there are many girls in my class compared to boys. We have a very cooperative and collaboratve environment where we study together
- The faculty is great, the teaching style is great we learn stuff like criminal law
- We have interactive crowd in our college with many clubs. Our class is filled with charts that we made as a process of teacher student interaction
Dislikes
- The cafetaria could use a little development as it is primitive to look at and its ambience is not upto the mark
- The washrooms are not often clean and there are lesser number of urinals
- The main block of our college is like a school without any good furniture that students can sit on.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course that i am studying comprises of criminal law and science. It is a vast course that varies from the beginning of detective agencies to the principles of science. It was a great choice considering the future scope of this course
Placement Experience
The placements at my college are pretty great , there have been a case of 7lpa that was offered to a senior of mine. In case of no placements , the chances of employability in my course is phenomenal as the course offers a vast experience of the criminal behaviour and scientific applications. We can go for government jobs after this course due to its vast range of educational aspect
Fees and Financial Aid
40k per year. 20k per sem Since i am in the first year it isn't quite accurate for me to assume if it is going to increase . Tuition fees is 20k per semester Caution fees is 1-1.5k There are scholarship programs offered gor meritorious students who scored great in 10 , 10+2 , CAT , XAT etc exams There are scholarships for children from army backgrounds Scholarships for backward classes as well And during the first year, all the girl childs get a 50% off during the time of their admission
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty great as the crowd of my college is very interactive. The clubs that our college offer also take initiatives to keep us occupied. They also visit to provide public services under a club named Rotaract club.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel provides a vast range of facilities, there is a lift , 3 time meal is provided, a complimentary tea and the security is pretty great There are 3 wardens in total that fulfill our needs even during the night time The rooms are cleaned everyday The washrooms are also cleaned if requested
Admission
The admission process at my college went pretty great compared to the ones that i had in mind before. It was smooth , they explained the course its scope and grading system There was a program named abhinandan during which they explained everything in depth , the grading system , the clubs introduction. The other colleges that i opted for did not provide the same elaborative explaination for the above mentioned parameters
Faculty
As a private college there are certain good professors and certain bad ones. The good professors make the class interactive in many ways and do not miss even a single lecture we learn a lot from them Meanwhile there are few faculty members who do bot take lectures often and they leave the work upto us which is frustrating.
Interview Experience
There were no written tests or group discussion of any sort for the admission process . The criteria for admission is 50% in 10+2 and for btech there is a criteria for jee examination. There is a separate examination from college for the admission procedure
Night Life
Since i am a day broader , the night life at my college is not experienced by me. The hostel of my college is not in the college itself. The college closes completely at 5 in the evening. Though during fests the college does provide a very great night life that is filled with joy and enjoyment
