Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculam in our entire graduation journey was very excellent. It was helpful as technical aspect as well as for our personality development. The curriculam was very relevant, and it prepared us for real life applications.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 52000/year as a OBC candidate. I paid remaining amount through maharashtra government scholarship scheme. The tuition fees for my course was 12000/year. The fees for SC, ST category was 12000/year.

Campus Life

The infrastructure provided in my college was very very good. For the functions, there were different commities were formed for each and every department. There were presidents elected for each department who were helping to conduct events.

Admission

I chose this college over other colleges because I have heard about this college's professors sincerity towards their duty. I liked this college the most for the teaching levels and consistency of teachers for taking leactures on time.

Faculty

In our college, our faculties were treating us like their child. They were like second parents to us. I admire one Professor the most for her supportive nature. That person was our last year project mentor Mrs. Nilam Khairnar Mam. She gave us an excellent support throughout our project journey.

Interview Experience

Yes, I did face a selection process for admission to my college. It included a Written Test, and a Personal Interview. The test tested my general knowledge, logical reasoning, and subject-specific knowledge. The interview was a mix of personal and technical questions. They asked about my academic background, why I wanted to join the program, and my career aspirations. Overall, the process was intense but rewarding because it allowed me to showcase my skills and potential.

Night Life

In our college, during exam period, the timing for the library were extended for students who wanted to study in that period. In my college, the canteen facility was good. The famous hangout places the campus was the famous temples in chandwad such as echhapurti ganesh mandir and chandreshwar mahadev temple.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
