Course Curriculum Overview

4

It ocurs after yearly and it is quiet difficult to pass first year exam as you cannot adjust yourself with the vast syllabus of mbbs. Faculty is quiet good in the college.ratio is also good. It was my dream to became an doctor and i am successfully persuing it.

Internships Opportunities

4

1 year internship is compulsory in college after completion of 4 year course . Students are posted in my hospital. Large no of patient comes in hospital therefore exposure is good . Currently 15000 rs is given to each intern and it increases by 500 rs every year .

Placement Experience

5

Placement is usually assured after completing full course .in internship you get 15000 rupees. Then in rural bond you get 60000-70000 rupees . Job is assured after completing four year mbbs course thereafter it depends on your skills how much ammount you will earn . Some mbbs doctors earn 2-3 lakh rupees per month

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes fees is quite high for below poverty line students but they can take scholarship through which they can study for minimum expenses . For example my college fee is 100000 per year and 12000 for hostel per year but through mmvy and post metric scholarship this are all payed by government if you are eligible for them. You just need to take care of your daily expenses and mess fees. Overall it's affordable if you are eligible for scholarship

Campus Life

2

College fest and technical fest are very irregular . Fest is not organised every year . Normally fest are held in November . Projectors and led are present through which diagram and everything is explained properly . Proper sports ground is not present in campus therefore college offers very less extracurricular activities. library facilities is good and you and take any book on rent at minimum cost.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is good . Two people resides in one room . 2 tables , chairs and beds are given . There are four mess in hostel and food quality and menu is decent ( not so good). You can register for hostel easily . It is super affordable as it cost only 1000 rs per month as fee . Rooms and pg costs around 5000-10000 depending upon location. Many rooms and pg are available near hostel campus and are easily accessible.

Admission

I applied in four university and got confirmed admission from all of them . Gmc bhopal ,mgm indore , gwalior and ratlam were my choices . Mgm is top medical College of madhya pradesh that's why I selected it. I didn't get any good college from all india councelling as my marks were not enough . By clearing neet you can take admission in my college . You can get mgm at 6009-8000 all india rank. Admission process is smooth .

Faculty

4

College faculty are College passout therefore they understand our basic problems and helps to solve them . There are 10-15 professor in each department. You can ask for any help at any time . They are very supportive and gives helpful guidance. Some faculties are too strict so I do not like them but it is important for our future but there is no such issue with any faculty . 2 sessional 1 pre university and university exams occur in my college. level of examination is moderate if you had studied then there is no difficulty in passing exams.

Night Life

5

Indore is famous for it's night culture. You can get food even at 3 am . College is located in centre of city so accessibility is good . It is safe to roam at night in Indore . Rajwada palace ,lal bagh palace , regional park, lakes khajrana temple ,sarafa, chappan are some famous spots you should visit . This all are present in 2-5 km radius from college campus. Gym and cafeteria is there in both college and hostel , but cafeteria is not that good .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
