B pharmacy is a professional course and if influenced me to choose this course This course prepares you for real world application starting from communication to discipline every thing is taught in this course one becomes very disciplined and dedicated to this course once they opt for it The improvement required is to give proper gaps between sessional and semister examination as it puts too much stress on student and the faculty at the ending rushes and completes the syllabus in a hurry without proper explaination and just gives ppts at the end and sometimes doesnt even complete the syllabus before semister exams . So i think this thing needs to be inproved Sessional examinations are not too hard but semister examinations are mild to hard

College life is boring here All you get to do here is study and study No extra curricular activities are held . Only teachers day and freshers party are done and that too from students side Clasrooms are not too well Ventilation is there but classroom is too old and faded Projector is there from which the teachers shows their slides and teaches As such no good things is there in this college

Rooms are quite okay In each room 4 persons have to live Each person from each year like one 1st yr one 2nd yr one 3rd year and one 4th year 3 lights and 2 fans are there in each room Each side there is a common socket for charging Each person gets one bed 6×2.5 and one table Mess is quite big and food is quite okay Usually in breakfast On monday- friedrice and chole Tuesday - puri Wednesday - pasta / chowmein Thursday- roti and dal Friday- chole bhature Saturday- khichdi Sunday- paratha There are always veg and non veg present Only on sunday and monday there is pure veg menu Rest all days there are non veg and veg for those who are veg

I applied for other colleges in which this college was also there I got joining offer from kolkata but i chose this college because of its location as it is in mountains so weather is quite cool and traffic and all stuffs are not there too much

The faculties are good and have healthy nature towards their students . The faculty teachers make sure to interact with each students and give their best to make each and every one to understand the topic . Till now the best faculty i found according to me is miss gayatri thapa ( department of human anatomy and physiology ) her way of teaching is very good and have very friendly nature towards the students There are total 3 examinations held every semister in which 2 are sessional examinations and 1 is semister examination Sessional examination are of 30 marks for theory and 40 marks for practical 2 sessional examinations are held and by combining the marks and calculating average by dividing it with 4 the average of threory paper overall 15marks are added to semister marks Semister exam is of 75marks and 15marks from internal the marks is 90 and 10marks are in the hands of teachers who give marks according to attendance and behaviour towards the faculty and in class discipline

Outside the college there are cafes where you can eat But the college ends at 5:15 pm and girls hostel is inside the campus and their outings are till 5:30pm so they dont get chances to go out also odd even rules are there so girls can go for outings only on odd days and boys on even days Boys hostel is outside the campus so they get chances to go out daily and their outing is till 6:00pm On sunday boys and girls both get outing Hostel has gym which is quite old and small and not many equipments are there Boys Hostel have playground in the backside of hostel so sports and other stuffs can be done there
