Remarks

Our college is good but still some developments are yet to be done. Afterall about 60% of our college works n infrastructure are good but still it requires some more development and progress so as to develop a skill among the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is under BPUT pattern syllabus.course is nice and student friendly.we hav labs and various curricular courses like yoga,project development etc.our college is also organising programmes on "Swach Bharat Aviyan"

Placement Experience

Yes there is a better placement opportunity in our college.various students are placed successfully in various mncs like TCS,INFY,CAPGEMINI etc.Apart from software companies also power sector companies like L&T ,Tata steels also select our students.

College Events

A lot of functions and events are going.presently our college is organising its technical fest and students all over the states had participated. TECHQUIP " is an event organised by our college for developing the skills of our students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Ours is a economical college.The expenses are not more than 40,000. First saying about course fee. Its about 33,000 per year. Our registration fees is only 2000. For other curricular activities our college don't charge us any fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facilities are provided to us so we face a lot of troubles.Its a disadvantage of our college that no financial assistance is given to economically backward students ,who are unable to pay their course fee.

Campus Life

There is a CTTC (central tool n training centre) in our college where we practice various courses n labs like plc,robotics,ecad ,etc.Also there is playground both indoor and outdoor.Cricket,football,hockey are practised along with our coaches.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good and hygienic.There are 3 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel of our college fooding and infrastructure is very good. Inside hostel there is RO connected water services,24 hour wifi service is also provided.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are linked to us through a group and guide us for future prospects.various alluminies are now working over entire world and they visit our college during alluminies programmes organised by our college to honour them.

Admission

I appeared jee mains then I got selected through my rank.Then I went on counselling and after that I got admitted into my college. Admission was based on the basic of ranks and marks obtained. Then I went to college for classes.

Faculty

Faculties are too good and friendly.our college had a total of 120 faculties.engaged in 8 branches of engineering. Every department has it's own lab and HoD of the department controls their concerned departments.

Placements are definitely there for coaching centres in my branch. Many big and reputed coaching institutions like akash, byjus etc came for recruitment. More R & D comapnis can be included. the nterview process and the packages were decent for the role offered.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The technical background and future influenced me to choose this course. The preparation for real-world applications or further academic pursuits are average. Theres no fair improvement needed in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The frequency of the exams are 2 sem exams and 4 quiz in class exams. The timings for sem exams are 3 hours while for quiz tests its 30 minutes. The difficulty level is average of all the exams

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE.
