Course Curriculum Overview
The course totally according to inc( indian nursing council). The chance to help people and give them a better life inspired me a lot for choosing this particular course. Dealing with patients at sgt hospital prepares me for more challenges.
Internships Opportunities
The college has good relationships with many hospitals and companies like medanta hospital, fortis hospital, civil hospital and many more. Internship is done in the sgt hospital itself but if i talk about placement students are given a lot of options according to their future plans.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is distributed according to semesters. As a nursing student i have 8 semesters. The tution fees remain the same every semester that is 86125. In the first semester there are some additional charges like development charges that is 13125, other charges that is also 13125, alumni fee that is 2500, and college security that is 10000. In the rest semester the tution fee, development charges and other charges remain the same. If the student fulfills the criteria of scholarship that is 80% attendance and 75% marks then he/she is given a 25% scholarship. However the scholarship is given in the even semesters that is 2nd,4th,6th and 8th. In 2nd semester the scholarship is given according to the marks of 12th class , a person scoring about 90% in 12th is given 100% scholarship, a person scoring above 80% is given 50% scholarship and a person scoring above 70% is given 25% scholarship.
Campus Life
The fests at sgt are so amazing and memorable. Each year everyone is surprised with amazing functions. Every festival is celebrated with so much joy. Like the famous fhoolo ki holi, diwali, cultural nights, genesis, yugam fest, guru nank birthday and Christmas.
Admission
The primary reason for choosing this college is NRSC and the own hospital for college. The placement rate is better than other colleges. Many informative sessions and confrence meetings broad the spectrum and enhance critical thinking.
Faculty
• the faculty is very cooperative and concerned about each student. Every student is assigned to a mentor for sharing their thoughts and problems. • I like My class coordinator very much cause she is a really good teacher and she makes the topic really easy to understand • if i talk about exams in every semester there are 2 sessional exams and at the end of every semester there is a final exam.
Night Life
There are a lot of cafeterias and mess in the college seprate gyms are there for boys and girls. Hostels are also separate for girls and boys and a lot options are given while taking hostel room like if someone wants to like in 2 sharing or 3. Hostel for faculty are also provided at just minimal prices. Apart from hostel pg is also an option for students to stay in
