- Good study environment is provided.Students are maintained in discipline.Guides the students if they are going wrong
- No ragging in the campus.The college is ragging free.seniors and juniors hold a good bonding among them . seniors will be friendly.no harassment to the juniors
- There will be regular cultural programs, sports events, essay competitions,face painting competition, painting competition, story writing competition, poem writing competition to bring out students stress
Dislikes
- Weather in manglore is very hot and it is very difficult to get adjusted
- No sufficient fans in classroom that disturbs the quality of learning and difficulty in focussing
- Teaching quality is average some are soo good and some are not even up to the mark average teaching quality
Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly exam are highly difficult but they prepare us for it by conducting many class test and surprise tests so we will always be ready for it. And they prepare us for real life application, they take us for medical camps more frequently
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there here but I don't see many of them doing their internship here.they go their Home town to the practice. The flow of patients to the hospital is also mot so much and they take us to other hospitals where the flow is good
Fees and Financial Aid
The couse is obviously intresting .But the difficulty is slightly more than mbbs because we have to study the whole course in English as well as sanskrit.we have to be ready to byheart and remember the shlokas Year wise fees would be around 4 lac.including all other extra fees it would be 4.5 lac approx and for sc st through govt quota there will be reduction in fees but not through management quota.ssp scholarship Vidya Siri scholarship is available for students
Campus Life
There aren't any typical months there will be one or the other programs every month.books are not given to home you can sit and study in the library itself And the number and quality of books are good Projector is present in classroom for ppt presentation and teachers use mic while teaching
Hostel Facilities
A empty cot chair and a table and a small conjusted are only the the things they provide Meal quality is worst food is not good they take extra money to give chapati and if not only rice and rasam will be the main dish Hostel registration is nothing much just pay the fees in the college office and you will be admitted Girls are not allowed to rent pg or room they compulsorily have to live in hostel W even get insects in the food so be careful
Admission
I came through government quota.And my admission process was through kea. And this college was not my first preference.As the cuttoff was at sky this year I was not able to join the college I wanted For eligibility 150 marks in neet is enough
Faculty
There good sum of teachers,but some are extremely sweet and some are very arrogant. I like my rachana shareera teacher astanga hridaya and kriya shareera teacher very much because of their humbleness and teaching skills. I didn't like my assistant lecturer of rachana shareera, because I can't understand what she teaches Good sum of exams will be conducted and not much students fail in the exam
Night Life
As college is present in heart of manglore, everything like gym library,cafetaria are all nearby,we should be in the hostel within 30 minutes after the college hours college timings is 9 to 5 and on Wednesday and Thursday one hour outing and on Sunday 7 to 2:30 outing will be there we can't go outof district with out permission and the locality is busy and safe
