Remarks
I completed my M.D. from Karnataka Ayurvedic Medical College. I overall enjoyed my whole course duration with my friends and learnt alot of new skills from teachers. The teachers always helped us in understanding the topics and in lab work we were guided by seniors.

The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and follows the syllabus, rules and regulations mandated by it. The college offers a training period after the course, where college helps students in getting internships, which can be chosen by chosen for continuing their jobs also. After MD the scope for the job is more varied than BAMS, and students can wish to be placed in any firm they like.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee charged per year for my MD was Rs. 2.5lakh charged annually, which I paid for 3 years, my whole course duration. The total fee was around 7-8 lakhs which is quite expensive. Although, there are also many scholarships and concessions available for meritorious and students from weaker sections of society.
Campus Life
The college holds multiple events a whole year like dancing, debates, workshops, seminars and guest lectures regularly for students. The college also has a well maintained good library and a computer lab with well-maintained computer systems, so students can practice and research. The college has labs with proper sanitization and a good amount of equipment and materials for practical sessions.
Hostel Facilities
The college provides well-furnished and well-ventilated hostel room facilities to both girls and boys. The hostels have a total occupancy of around 500 students. The hostel is inside the college campus. The hostel mess provides good food and there are strict rules on hostels.
Admission
The minimum qualification for taking admission here is having cleared BAMS. The admission to the college is taken via NEET PG. I had quite a good score in it, so I easily got admission here. After visiting the college a small interview was also there, which I cleared with ease and successfully got a seat in the college to proceed with my admission.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is quite good and professionals in their respective field of studies. The teachers always help and guide students whenever they face any problem in their career or being placed. That's what I liked about poor teachers alot.
