- The college really gives focus on quality education
- Lots of events keeps on happening . If somebody wants to focus on co curricular parul has lots of opportunities
- The campus is very big and beautiful. It is a good place to gain meaningful future connections . It has its very own hospital as well where the students go and learn .
Dislikes
- There are lots of students in the batch. The place looks overcrowded sometimes .there are 108 students currently in Parul institute of nursing and research
- Faculty is not fixed yet. External faculty comes to teach sometimes but they are quite good aswell .
Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc nursing is quite popular course for medical students out there . You can get admission easily into the college . We have internals and externals exams both happening .just hoped they had fixed permanent faculty for anatomy and physiology as external faculty comes. But the external faculty comes and teach and they are very good aswell they are form mbbs dept.
Fees and Financial Aid
Parul institute of nursing and research total fees per year is 1,57,000. If you are taking admission through management quota you might not be able to apply for scholarships but if you have availed the admission through govt quota you will be able to opt for various scolarships available .
Campus Life
Parul university is quite popular for its event . The events happening in the university are very well arranged . There's evertything happening in the university no matter what your interest is you will have an event for that . There are lots of clubs as well . Many literature fests also happens here . Nursing fests takes place as well.parul university has multiple libraries as well. Main library, nursing library and medical library as well. The classroom is not very well equipped. The ac is not available in the classrooms yet . There are lots of competition also taking place in the college like in sports ,dance ,debate .
Admission
I got a govt seat for bsc nursing in Shillong but location wise that was not my thing . And coudnt make it in aiims .hence looked for private college . I had three options in my mind royal global University guwahati ,parul university vadodara and chitkara University mohali . Both RGU and Chitkara had much higher fees structure and the hostel fees was also much higher . Hence opted for parul university vadodara as the fees was much more feasible than the other two colleges mentioned
Faculty
The faculty is okayish Few of them are very experienced and knowledgeable . Teachers are friendly and open to discuss your problems . It has eight semester exams pattern . The college follows inc (indian nursing council) and is under govind guru university . Hence the external question paper comes from giving guru university
Night Life
Parul university has an amazing night life . The campus has gym you will have to pay for it is available for hostel students . Therr are lots of places to hangout . It has dominos ,burger king and many popular outlets . In the night you have to get into your hostels rooms before 9PM. Campus hostels have there menu mentioned .few campus hangout places in the campus are capitol ,tea post ,greenzey,
