Course Curriculum Overview

4

The main aspects of curriculum that influenced me to choose this course was my interest and the skills which it provides is very nice and in the market. The curriculum prepares me nicely for real world application. Improvements can be made with the physics faculty in the college . After every 3 months the university conducts exams. and difficulty level is average.

Placement Experience

3

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like Wipro, IBM visit the college The percentage of getting placed is 60% My plans after completing my degree is to get a good campus placement. If I don't get placed in campus. I'll build my portfolio good enough to be placed via linkedin.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees for my course is 1,36,000 yearly. Caution fees is 5000, registration fees was 1000, Exam fees is 6000. No other payments were asked at the time of admission. The college does not provide scholarship on the basis of caste. The scholarship was merit based, according to my percentage ie- 80%. I got 40 % scholarship on my tuition fees for the first year.

Campus Life

3

Every year ZEST takes place , It is the annual cultural fest ,many colleges participate in the event. Nakash aziz performed this year in ZEST. It usually happens in the month of october. The library has more than 125000 books and are accesible. The classrooms are equiped with smart boards and projectors.

Admission

I applied to echelon institute of technology. and got a confirmed admission. I did not choose that college because i disliked the faculty and infrastructure there. I did not get rejection from any colleges. Admission process was quite easy, The eligibilty was minimum 65% in cbse board exams. Jee result is also accepted in the college.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is 1: 50 . Faculties are approachable and always open for doubt solving and any other problems. The faculty that I like is Mr. Shiv Kumar he teaches us C language, He always ensures we are understanding everything and always gives us good advice. In one semester there are two exams mid semester exams and semester exams. The difficulty level is average, most of the students pass the exam. The course curriculum is relevant.

Night Life

1

The gym for hostel user is opened till 9 PM. Closing time of cafeteria is 8:30PM Hostel In timings in 9:30 PM Campus in timings are 9PM. The campus is safe to roam but locality is not as it is away from the city. Famous hangout places near college is World Street

Other Applied Colleges

Echelon Institute of Technology | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)

The crowd was not so good and no interactions with teachers were made during the visit and admission process.

Thinking Computer Science is what most people get a job offer for. Well knowing the fact that professors are good in this college at least for Computer Science department. And overall the main thing was the tuition fees they took was least compared to other colleges which I looked out for in the country.

Infrastructure and facilities are well maintained and can be given five stars. Teaching and curriculum still need to be updated to make every student future ready rather than a bookworm or a crammer. The coding environment is still less and needs to be improved.
