Course Curriculum Overview
I choose PGDM-IB to get to know more about the international aspects of business. The subjects that we basically study are (in the first two trimester) INTERNATIONAL TRADE ORGANISATIONS INTERNATIONAL TRADE INVESTMENTS INTERNATIONAL FINANCE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS LAW For PGDM-IB we have a lot of industry and ports visit and an international port visit as well. Which gives us good knowledge about the industry. There are no or hardly 1-2 companies coming for PGDM-IB students. So, thats the major issue with the course.
Internships Opportunities
There are very less internship opportunities available for this year batch. however the previous batch didn't face this issue. Till now PGDM- insurance business management is placed only 45 students other courses students are advised to look internships through their connections.
Placement Experience
The average placement of our college is around 900000. The internships are very few. The students become eligible for placements from 4th Trimester onwards. Cimpanies that visit are KPMG, EY, DELOITTE, NESTLE, UNIQLO, MARSH etc. Companies take around 3-4 students on an average. Till now 40% batch is placed.

Campus Life
There are many clubs and conduits in the college and its the best part. A lot of fests like vihaan, superchef, reflections, Janamasthmi, Enterpreneurial Events etc keeps happening in the college. A lot of sports alos. All the clubs are run by students only.
Hostel Facilities
The rent is too much as comapred to the facilities provided. seniors are provided with single rooms but juniors are staying in sharing rooms. No students is allowed to stay in PG. It is a residential course. The mess is good the food quality is good
Admission
I applied in Jaipuria, I didn't take admission there because I felt BIMTECH has a better reputation than Jaipuria and also the placements that I heard of were very good. I was selected for admission in JAIPURIA. Our college conducted a PI and Extempore round for the selection. Students mostly come here through CAT OR XAT. However I took CMAT.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is very helpful. The teachers are well experienced. The faculty student ratio is 1:60. All the faculties are directly approachable and very supportive. The exams are of moderate level and 90% of the students passes the exams. the teaching methods are basically case-study based which help us to understand the market and get ready for jobs. The curriculum is well designed to make us go through every process that is needed. We do have many industry visits as well and for International Business students there is a port visit that is very helpful for us. We do have relative grading in eaxms marking system.
Interview Experience
Yes I did. There was an interview and Extempore. Basic questions like Introduce yourself How did you show some qualities in you? Strengths and Weakness Challenges faced in life My extempore topic was CHILD LABOUR.
Night Life
no night life in this college. There are a lot of restrictions. The boys stay outside the campus and girls stay in campus. Gate closing time is 7:00 P.M. The hostel closes around 12:00 A.M. You are not alllowed to roam at night. You need to take one or twp day prior permission from the warden office for a night out.
