Too strict for girls. Dress code will be only kurti since it is just girls dress code can be made liberal

Course Curriculum Overview

The BCA course was well structured, and the elderly lecturers taught exceptionally well. This course is highly suitable for individuals genuinely interested in computer science. Notes were provided in both hardcopy and softcopy format which was very helpful

Fees and Financial Aid

MMK and SDM is one of the best college in mysore especially for girls. The college provides us a stage to expose our talents. The staff are very knowledgeable persons. The college will be having different opportunities to prove ourselves the best

Campus Life

There were not just one functions that very going in this college. There very many functions, technical festival in this college in order to expose students talent. The library was filled with books from comics to the advanced book of their departments.

Admission

I applied only for 2 colleges that was NIE and SDM since NIE college was a bit far from our house i didn't make to join it. Later since i studied my PU here and knew how it was i continued my bachelor's over here. The college is extremely good.

Faculty

The faculty are very good. Faculties are very knowledgeable. They also encourage us to participate in co-curriculam activities. The faculties who has been there for more than 10 years are really very good at teaching.

Night Life

The college is usually only till 5. After that the college remains close. There is nothing about the night life in the college which i could speak for. Since the college doesn't provide any hostel facility the college remains closed at night.

More Than Just a Degree: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The college provides placements. Students who are in 6th semester of their degree courses are eligible for campus placements provided by the college. A lot of IT companies regularly walk in for job drive with annual package of 3-6 LPA. The college provides basic placement support, but employability mostly depends on individual skill development. After completing the degree, I plan to pursue higher studies or improve technical skills to get better career opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From the last year of the college which means from 5th and 6th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Wipro Deloitte Empower [24]7 Cognizant Molecular Connections Pt Imt Bicon TCS and many more companies do come. I exactly dont know the no of offers made exactly. There are no offical records about the placements in past two years of BCA or they have not updated about placements yet but in 2022 the highest package was around 3.8 lac and the average package was around 1.8lac to 2.5 lac.The percentage of students placed in BCA is comparitevely low. My plans after completing the degree is to complete my Masters.

Honest review

Placement Experience:

Students will be eligible for internships from the fourth sem of their course. There are many big companies who have visited the campus and made really good offers but if you want a good package the level of difficulty to get into this will also be high. The average package for BCA is 3,00,000 per annum. As per University information their placement rate is 91 percent. After getting the degree I'll be looking for a good company to work for and gain my knowledge.
