Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is apt according to the Indian scenario instead of going system based study the course is dealt with subject wise. The postings from 3rd sem give you the exposure to clinics and the patients. Due to the good patient load you can learn a lot of things in the bedside

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is mandatory for 1 year which is at the end of the 4.5 years of the course. The stipend as of now is 24,000 rupees. The intern doctors are posted in different departments for specific duration of time during which they work and learn new clinical skills as well

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee for the entire duration of the 5.5 years of the course if INR 5,856/- which is paid at once during the admission through cash at the bank in the campus. The hostel fee for the entire duration of 5.5 years is 1000/- which included in the forepaid 5856 rupees no extra fee is to be paid. The mess fee is separate and to be paid monthly which varies according to the vendor. The examination fee would be around 100 rupees at max which is paid during the proffs. There is very less chance that the college fee is increased or decreased.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is very good There are good sports facilities including tennis, badminton, basketball courts there are table tennis and the sports committee is run by students. There is a student committee started recently in the name of AMSAM(Association of medical students AIIMS mangalagiri) under which we have sports, sne, cultural, literary,it,mess and hostel commitee as well There is a very good senior junior bonding as well

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel is located within the campus. The hostel is very affordable which is 1000 rupees for the whole 5.5 years. It is registered in the beginning at the time of admission. There are double share rooms with good almirah, study table and chair and cot with mattress. There 24/7 geyser and electricity facility with good infrastructure of the hostel building. The food is fine to survive and the taste depends on the vendor's staff

Admission

I had applied for aiims nagpur but couldn't get it due to a higher cut off I did apply for aiims kalyani but wouldn't choose it over aiims mangalagiri as it is near to my home.the admission process is quite simple once you get the documents mentioned everything would go smoothly with a medical examination. The admission is solely based on the merit in NEET UG examination

Faculty

5

There are more than sufficient highly qualified faculties. The faculty are very approachable and clear your doubts at any time without any hesitation. Some of the best faculty are in Physiology and Anatomy who teach you not just the theory but morals and principals and Surgery faculty in the postings teach you more about the patient care and medical ethics which very important. There are mid term and sem ending exams. There is one proff after 2 sems,The second proff consists of 3 sems,The final year proffs are to be given after the final 4 sems together. The exams are difficult but not undoable, the exposure eventually gives you the orientation to work accordingly and with consistency everything becomes easy inshaallah

Night Life

4

Students chill out by playing sports like badminton , basketball , tennis and table tennis. The usually go for outings in vijayawada and mangalagiri. The gym is under construction as of now but would be opened soon. The hostel timings per say are 10:30 pm but you would be allowed inside with a valid reason and prior information if late.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum is CBME based. I chose this course cause of my sister., she is also studying in our college. There is a bit of spoon feeding here. But the person who studies on their interest only gets good marks. The timings for the exams are not so bad but are difficult to complete the given syllabus in time.

Firstly i wanted to become a doctor. I was firstly afraid of joining in this college as it is new one and the college admission is mainly based on merit so not much of option i got. I got a all india rank of around 17000 and state rank of 1049 . Now i got md general medicine in kurnool medical college. So it gives you great knowledge for the seeking. Yearly one final with practicals and 3 internals which are easy one if you study moderate ly also .

The term exams will be conducted once in 10-12 months. And for every one professional year the exams are conducted and they are held by separate universities of our state . For us exams are conducted by ysrruhs. The exams are difficult to pass if we start studying in the last ie near to exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
