My college review

I chosen this course not because of the curriculum i chosen this course because of the demand in the market and software field. The curriculum will provide the basics in every subject hardly a bit more of basics but not too deeply so you have to work on your own by referring texts in library , practicing coding at home like that to be ready for the real-world. The exams times are not too frequent they all go slow and anyone can catch up and they are not too difficult if you studied well .

Students are allowed for placements in final year only but the college started preparing them for placements from 3rd year onwards. Not too many recognised companies but the best are TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys. The highest package offered was :- 18 lakh/annum The average package offered was :- 6 lakh/annum Over 65% of students are getting placed every year by our college. My plans after getting the college degree is to place at campus placements with a good package.

For Reservation students: The students who got admitted through EAPCET, don't pay the college fees they will the course fees decided by the government and infrastructure development fees and hostel/bus fees if they are availing them Infrastructure fees:- 6000 (may increase for freshers) Course fees:- 43000(government decided) For management students: The students should pay college fees yearly, infrastructure development fees, hostel/bus fees (if availing), donation amount. Donation amount :- 2-3 lakh rupees(management decides) Course fees :- 1.5 lakh rupees(may change yearly) Infrastructure fees :- 6000 ( may increase for freshers)

Our college conducts anual fest named KITS YUVA which is usually celebrated in February month every year and also freshers party, farewell party, and graduation ceremony. Our library has overall 34,000+ volumes in total which are divided in various types of departments wise. Classrooms are facilitated with neat and clean environment with lights and fans also our classrooms are fully air conditioned with two air conditioners per classroom. Our college has different varieties of student-run clubs namely E-cell, innovation club, jeevan kaushal, NCC, NSS and also GDG ( Google developer groups).

I applied to VVIT and RVR&JC engineering colleges i didn't get into those colleges because I didn't pass the eligibilty criteria of those colleges so I ended up in this college . If I had to choose my college to them , academically my college can similar to them but extra curricular activities wise my college is a bit lame and inactive. In my admission process it went too well I submitted all my certificates and reports to the college and paid my bus fees and infrastructure fees. simply done

Faculty wise my college is great because my college has some of the great teachers with good subject knowledge and they interact and help every time, they are very approachable. Coming to our course structure and exams our college follows the subjects and syllabus decided by the JNTUK kakinada University. For my regulation there are 2 assignments and 2 mid examinations per semester. Coming the difficulty level of exams they are not too tough if you prepared good , faculty covers most of the syllabus and many of them provide materials also so difficulty level of exams is 6-7/10. Over 40% of students of my course fails in exams.

Our college canteen is the worst you can ever see, no students are allowed to sit in canteen at class ours even you don't have class and also no girl students and boy students should interact at places like outside the class room even not in classroom.
