I choose this college because when the time of admission the Government Polytechnic Dehradun was at the top college between other Polytechnic colleges in Uttarakhand. The admission process is same as other colleges and universities you have to give a entrance exam known as Jeep and after the result your rank will be given to and you have to apply on a different college in a counselling and if you get the seat you can take admission on that college....Read More

So to enter this course one must have completed his or 10 classes (mandatory) and 12 classes (optional ), one has to first fill out the form on the website, forms are usually out in April the fee is 200 rs and exams happens in May and the results are declared in 1 or 2 weeks and then you have to go through Counseling in which you select your college and thats it, I didn't avail any reservation benefits. The frequency of exams is also good, neither too much nor too low, and time given is also sufficient for preparation and the difficulties level is moderate, not too hard, the area in which they can improve is the admission process, it is not that smooth, and one have to roam so much just to get admission, it should all be done in one place...Read More

You should have passed intermediate with physics, chemistry, Biology or maths. You have to fill JEEP entrance exam form from UBTER website. Application fees is around 800- 1000 rupees.
