I always wanted to be in the medical field, so I chose pharmacy as my course. The syllabus of pharmacy is prepared by Pharmacy council of India is based on real life applications very well. The training period or internship period may be increased so students can know about the whole health care system. And also adding new practicals can help students a lot. In this course Exams are conducted as - three Sessional exams and one annual exam per year . Difficulty level is moderate.

Currently I am doing internship from "Doon Medical College and hospital" Where my works are so far- Dispensary-drug (medicine) dispensing to the patients. Main store - drug and medical equipments distribution to the whole hospital, record maintanance. Sub store - drug (medicine) and medical equipments distribution to the various wards and record maintanance.

In pharmacy course students of second year(final year) and Sudents of Engineering third year are eligible for campus placement. Various companies like Tata, Mahindra, Appollo pharmacy, Cipla etc visited for campus placement. Highest package is of 500000 per annum. Average package is of 185000 per annum. More than 90% students gets placement every year. My plans are to work in healthcare field

Tution fee is 8000 rupees annual and 4900 rupees for extra hike. 1020 rupees is registration fees or exam fees. Around about 40000 is enough for this two years course. Students can enroll for Scholarship via National Scholarship Portal. In September to November their are two fests- first one is Fresher's party. And second one is college's annual day. Whole year their are so many festivals are organised. Library is full of books related to the course you are persuing. Thier is an e-learning class room and a smart library. College sports are generally organised after first Sessional exams and then their are two other sports programs first is zonal game and then State games.

Their are two separate hostels for boys students and girl students. The hostel capacity is of 60 boys and 40 girls. Their is one room alotted for per 3 students. Fully furnished and clean room. Meal quality is Good. And served as per the menu. You just have to fill the application form for hostel. Hostel fees is 4000 rupees annual and mess fees is depends upon the Tender.

You should have passed intermediate with physics, chemistry, Biology or maths. You have to fill JEEP entrance exam form from UBTER website. Application fees is around 800- 1000 rupees. You can get reservation benefits as per your catagory. Entrance exam is conducted by UBTER once per year Their is no negative marking so difficulty level is mild to moderate.

This college is ranked among the top polytechnic colleges in uttarakhand and north india the main reason behind it is, this college has maximum number of teachers as compared to other polytechnic colleges. Teaching faculty is Well Educated and well experienced. May be in first two or three days you may think that teachers are rude but over the time they are literally like your best friend. Even i called my teacher as my big brother. In your course duration the teachers are the best advisor for sure.
