GPD BEST POLYTECHNIC IN UTTARAKHAND

There is a state level entrance exam called jeep. Admission on college based on ranking in state. There is online counseling for choosing branch and college.Top ranker first choice is my college. Minimum qualification to enroll is high school pass. But my college enrollment is based on higher rankings in entrance exam. There is schorlship scheme for lower class student also seat are reserved for them.

I choose mechanical production branch. There are 6 teacher for theory and 4 teacher for practical for 60 student.faculty are well qualified. There is sessional exam in between of semester exam. Exam level as like as semester exam. So do proper study to pass in this exam. In 6 months semester exam held. There are total 6 semester.

Under 3 year probgram every student should get 45 days industrial training. It is necessary for all student. There is tie up between start transport department and our college regarding thid training. In final year every student make thier project and submit to college.

There are many companies which comes for placement. After 5 sem everyon can placed in various company.Highest package provide by good company. Minimum 30 k got by students who takes part in placement. After college o joineed Mahindra and Mahindra.

There is schorlship scheme for sc st snd obc student. Their total yearly fees was rembursed to them. College also give financial support to economic weaker students for various problems.There is excellent Training and placement departmen. Every student get job before the end semester. I got job in Mahindra and Mahindra by college placement.

There is fresher party every year after 2 months of admission and farewell party before 1 month of end semester. Annual day also celebrated . There is also 3 days sports meet .There are well furnished library. Class room are good attach with projector for better explanation of any topic.There are many groups of gpd in facebook.
