Dislikes
- There is significant room for improvement in infrastructure. The classrooms, libraries, and other facilities often fall short of modern standards, there are no projectors in the classrooms and no proper maintenance in Library.
- One major drawback of the college is the condition of the washrooms, which are in extremely poor state. They lack proper cleanliness, maintenance, and basic hygiene standards, making it a significant inconvenience for students.
- One significant concern at the college is the overly strict rules and regulations, which often feel restrictive to students. These policies can sometimes hinder personal growth, creativity, and the ability to explore beyond academics.
Course Curriculum Overview
The BBA course curriculum is generally well-structured, offering a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In terms of relevance, the curriculum aligns well with the needs of the business world, covering key subjects like management, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship. It prepares students with a solid foundation in business principles and equips them with the tools needed for decision-making and leadership. In terms of comprehensiveness, the curriculum covers a broad spectrum of business topics, but there may be room to include more emerging trends like digital marketing, data analytics, or sustainability in business practices. Overall, it provides a well-rounded education, though continual updates to reflect current market dynamics and industry demands would be beneficial. Moreover commerce students can quickly adapt to the course whare as MPC and BiPC can't. It takes time to understand about the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for 1st year is 55000 2nd year is 56000 3rd year is 57000 Here is a clear view of how my fees terms are divided in different charges accordingly to the term-1 of my final year. Campus Life
My overall experience with campus life has been quite fulfilling, with a great balance of social engagement, extracurricular involvement, and academic resources. Social Aspects and Club Involvement: Campus life here is vibrant, with various clubs and activities that foster a strong sense of community. I am particularly involved in Annual Fest Navrit, which is one of the major cultural events at the college. This event brings together students from diverse backgrounds and offers a platform to showcase talents and ideas. Additionally, I am part of student-run social groups like "My Stall," where we not only manage the stall but also generate profits through the sale of various items, contributing to our college community and learning valuable business skills. Library Resources: The library is a valuable asset to students, with a wide range of books and journals available for research and academic purposes. It has a quiet, well-organized space for studying, and the extensive collection helps in providing both the foundational and advanced materials needed for a BBA program. Infrastructure: While the infrastructure is generally adequate, there are areas that need improvement. The technological provisions in classrooms are quite poor. The lack of modern equipment and updated technology often limits the potential for interactive and tech-enhanced learning. This is a notable drawback compared to other facilities at the college. Sports and Extracurricular Activities: The college offers a good range of sports and extracurricular activities, encouraging students to participate in various events. From athletic competitions to intercollegiate tournaments, there are ample opportunities for students to stay active and compete. These activities play an essential role in developing teamwork, leadership, and discipline. Overall, while the college offers a good mix of academic resources, extracurricular activities, and social engagement, there are still areas infrastructure facilities
Admission
I chose this college over the other colleges I applied to for several key reasons that aligned with my academic and career goals. Here's a comparison of my college with the others: 1. Placement Opportunities: The placement record at this college stood out, with a high number of reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment. While other colleges I applied to also had placement opportunities, none had such a strong network of industry connections and support through workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling. 2. Faculty Expertise: The faculty at my college is highly qualified, with many having industry experience, which is crucial for real-world learning. In comparison, some other colleges had professors with strong academic backgrounds but limited experience. 3. Campus Life and Social Engagement: This college offers a vibrant campus life with various clubs, sports activities, and cultural events, encouraging both personal and professional growth. While other colleges offered similar activities, the sheer number and variety of events here seemed more extensive, and the sense of community was stronger. 4. Reputation and Accreditation: The reputation of this college in the industry, coupled with its strong alumni network, was another deciding factor. Many of the colleges I applied to had good reputations, but the recognition of this college by top employers made it a more appealing choice. Admission Process: After getting approved by the college after the counselling or directly visiting management office, we just need to fill a form and pay an advance amount as 1st term . All students who have cleared the intermediate are eligible to join. No entrance test is needed. The college's I applied other than this are unity degree college, prism degree college.
Faculty
The faculty members at our college are highly knowledgeable and bring a diverse range of expertise to the classroom. With a small faculty-to-student ratio 6:53, they are able to offer personalized attention and foster strong academic relationships with students. They are approachable and supportive, always ready to assist with both academic queries and career guidance. Many faculty members also actively participate in research and professional development, which enriches the learning environment and ensures that students are exposed to the latest trends and best practices in their fields. Jayalakshmi mam , she is the head of the department in business administration block , a powerful lady as a lecturer , she can handle any student and boost up self confidence. I like her a lot as she always encouraged us to get success. Swarna Priya mam, she is the one I hate because she doesn't teach the lesson but would like to chit chat with the other teachers, and she don't take the classes. Every faculty is rich in the knowledge and in their own way they teach the students effectively. There will be around 2 semesters in an year with 4 mids overall. The syllabus or exam pattern is not so difficult to attempt and pass. It's quite good and easy. Roughly one or two students fail in the exam because of the subject Accounts. As many of the guys don't know about accounting. Commerce students can relate BBA curriculum quickly
Night Life
The nightlife around our college campus is relatively quiet, as the college environment focuses heavily on academics and maintaining a disciplined routine. Campus and Hostels: The college itself does not have a gym or other recreational facilities, and the hostel has strict timings for going out. Students are only allowed to leave the campus during specific hours, making late-night outings difficult. Cafeterias and Public Areas: The campus cafeterias typically close by evening, leaving very few options for late-night snacks or hangouts within the college. Hangout Spots: There aren't many places inside the campus for late-night hangouts. However, students often gather in common areas for discussions or group studies during the day.
