Course is updated as we have subjects like artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, cloud computing and labs like emerging technology which has subjects like HTML, CSS , javascript. But there is scope for improvement.

Few companies come with combined offer where they offer internship + ppo. Few companies also visit with only internship opportunities for the students. Students can pursue internship in either 7th sem or 8th sem.

The placement offered by the institute is pretty descent. The placement cell is fairly active and bring adequate amount of opportunities for the students. Average package is around 4 lac. The companies visiting the campus are Delloite, HP, Infosys, LTIMINDTREE, Sap labs etc.

There are many active clubs in the college. There are dedicated clubs for music , sports, theatre, coding, entrepreneurship etc . Zygon is the annual fest of the college and apart from this fest from other lubs are organised throughout the year. Library is there for the students which has all the above asked amenities.

The hostel facilities are quite good. Proper mattress, pillow , cupboard, study tables are provided. Every room is attached with balcony. There is option of AC or non AC accomodation. Staffs are there to clean the washroom continuously till 7 pm. The registration for the hostel is done through the college website during the college admission.

The overall fees of btech degree in this college is on the affordable side. The same degree is given by other colleges at 6 lac per year whereas in Silicon it is 2.1 lac per year. Also the academic and placement at the institute is pretty descent. To get into the college one has to appear for JEE mains and then appear for OJEEE counseling.

Faculty is mostly Phd holders. Faculties are always punctual to the class. Syllabus is always covered on time. Exam pattern Mid term - 25marks End term - 60 marks Teacher assessment - 15 marks Above is for theory paper Lab marks - 100

There is no night life in the college as the girls hostel gate is closed by 10pm so students have to consume there dinner and get back to their respective hostels. Boys are even not allowed to stay outside for too long as they have to get back to their hostel by 10: 30.
