- affordability, it’s too affordable for people who are not That financially strong and on the basis of fees, it’s a quite Good teaching faculty Additionally, most of the Faculties are PHD, So they can teach students very well
- The campus is well grow surrounded with trees and plantation, Creates a soothing experience For students, when they don’t have any lectures, they can just chill in the campus, so it’s a good area to chill
- they do have enough computers, so computer department can easily learn things on the PC so it’s a great thing because they have around three Computer Labs, which include around 150 computers.
Dislikes
- benches are not that comfortable They are made of food and don’t have sufficient seating area, so it’s a bit uncomfortable after around half hour of sitting
- The classes are not well lighted because most of the classes only have windows from a single side Is not sufficient to lead, lighting up a full classroom
- The Chemistry lab is on ground floor, and most of the time you get the smell of different types of chemicals, which is not that great.
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum is outdated. students are learning a technology which is around a decade old which is not relevant to today's world scenarios, and that cannot get students a job after completing these course. they have to include new subjects and new tech technologies in their curriculum. Also, they have to teach students practically what is the uses of that particular Technology and where it is been used in real world scenarios. as per the difficulties they have to change the format to MCQ (multiple choice question) instead of writing long answers in the exams.
Internships Opportunities
there is an internship opportunity which I have to do with your college studies in the final year of the college which is provided by the college and associated with the college and you will get a internship certificate at the end of your internship and you will not get any stipend during this internship time period. the task while doing the internship is to build a small application parts which will be used in industries.
Placement Experience
The placements are not that easy, you have to visit Veer Narmad South Gujarat University which is the main university among South Gujarat colleges, There were six different companies at my Time, who are offerig a placements and conducting interviews. they are giving 1 Lakh per annum to 3 lakhs per annum packages, 50% of the students are getting placements
Fees and Financial Aid
For the first year you have to pay around 32000 rupees at the collage premises you can pay by Upi and Cash. If you cannot pay yearly fees they will divide that in two parts and take fees for on half yearly basis. The tution fees is around 11000 rupees per semester Aunty develop is around ?2000 and around ?1000 and library fee is around ?500 and the rest other. they will also provide the scholarships based on your cast and category, so it is a full beneficial for who are included in that, for STNSC category. They provide full scholarship for the fees and for OBC Deep provide around 30% of scholarship and for general, there is no scholarship. and to get this scholarship, you have to minimum pass all the subjects in first attempt, if you free to do that, you will get your scholarship in the next year. scholarship is given on yearly basis.
Campus Life
there is a annual function where student show their dance performances and singing performances. Also, there is certificate and prize distribution ceremony students get their reward, which they have gained throughout the year. there is projector provided in every classroom so faculty can connect the Laptop and project Laptop screen in front of class, to explain various concepts. next to extra as per the extra curriculum Sports is the only space which is very much important to College, and the other are singing, dancing and stand-up comedy. and there are no clubs which can impact on students life.
Admission
I got confirmation from three colleges, my own college, which is the Dolat Usha Institute of applied science , MaliBa Institute of technology, Bardoli and Veer narmad south gujarat University, Surat. All these three colleges are associated with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, so I'll get same certificates and Sim mark sheets for all these three colleges and Dolat Usha Institute of applied science which is my college is around 30 minutes from my home, so it is easy to accessible for me. and the admission process was simple. I have to go on VNSGU website. and then I got admission confirmation SMS and email. and then after I got a call from each of these colleges, and you have to confirm the admission where you want to take that on the call, and then after you have to visit College and submit all the necessary documents and pay the admission fees to reserve space in that college.
Faculty
this one faculty over 40, students and factors of most of the faculties are very good, but some are a bit rude and I should don't behave a bit well to them. They just cut down your marks unnecessarily in internal exams. there there are two faculties whom I like the most, and those are Manish Dodia and Nirav Desai. The faculties i don't like are Yatin Solanki and Mehul Tithalia, they are unnecessarily very strict, and their behaviour is very rude, and sometimes they punish students unnecessarily there are around three examinations in a semester and a semester is around about six months of time Period. And there are three examinations which are a unit test, internal exams, and the external final semester exams additionally, there are internal, practical and extra practical exams, also, which are the part of internal and external exams. and as per the difficulty, it's a medium to hard
Night Life
at night time, the college is mostly empty, and there are only hostel students in the college campus, and all the College main buildings are locked. All the students who are in the hostel have to be in the hostel at around 10 PM, unless there is any medical emergency. cafeteria opens at around 8 AM and closes at around 6 PM, and the space in the cafeteria is too small, so there is no enough amount of seating space. you can visit Tithal beach, which is around 10 minutes away from the college. additionally, there are around 10+ cafes near College. and 3+ gyms.
