Course Curriculum Overview

4

The teaching methods and curriculum are preparing you for placements that how you will perform in placements and how will the things that you study in this course be useful in your job and some kind of motivation

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities are offered during the last semester of your course and if it's possible Parul University will hire you as an Intern in their own department or you will have to lookout somewhere for something yourselves and if you can't get a internship then you can work on a project.

Placement Experience

4

Parul University is very well known for its placements around 150 companies visit Parul University every year for campus placements and internship opportunities, for appearing in placements a student needs atleast 6 CGPA

Fees and Financial Aid

PU doesn't grant any scholarship but students get scholarship availing opportunities on basis of their categories or financial status (Government Scholarships). The more the grade the increased percentage of scholarship granted but it is a very lengthy process

Campus Life

5

At Parul University campus life, social aspects, club involvement and stuff go together with academics, Parul is very well known as a "Bollywood Campus" or "Karan Johar wal campus", life is like a movie at Parul University

Hostel Facilities

4

I accomodate in Parul University's hostel Tagore A in a three sharing AC room facilities provided are cupboards, tables, attached bathrooms, etc. and there is very peaceful environment in the hostel and people mind their own businesses which makes it very peaceful.

Admission

Other college students had no life, no events no visits and nothing but Parul is a very vibrant and lively campus plus it gives value added courses, there are platforms to showcase other talents than academics, there are competitions to motivate students

Faculty

4

1:80 is the faculty to student ratio and there are two exams every semester mid semester and end semester exams like there are exams at every three months and they are moderate in difficulty, some staff members are very helpful, supportive and like parent figures but some are just too cocky and try to make you submit to them

Night Life

4

The gym is most of the time overcrowded even if students are supposed to come at their allotted times, the cafeterias are so lively and there are public areas are like gardens and stuff they also feel very fresh, the closing time of the cafeterias is 9:00 PM and hostel gates close at 9:30 PM before 9:30 PM students have to fill up their water bottles and after gate closes biometric attendance takes place

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for BSc BIOTECHNOLOGY because of my interest. The field of Biotechnology was blooming. Faculty are good in number. One faculty for each subject. Wide ranges of subject are included in curriculum. BSc is in three subjects - BIOTECHNOLOGY, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE and HEALTH-HYGIENE. Teachers are generally freshers but they stay atleast for a year. Few teachers also have a doctoral degree and are expertise in their field. Timely assignments and seminars are conducted. 30% is internal marks. Semester internal as well as external exams are conducted. Exams are moderate. It covers esay to difficult questions. If well prepared, you can pass easily.
