Course Curriculum Overview

4

Science, specially physics has always attracted me, the curriculum which was cbcs in our case was quite intuitive. The curriculum leads us in learning real life practical skills in electronic, thermodynamic and kinetics Teaching methods could be made more engaging by including one to one cross question and looking for real life examples to make us understand the topic

Fees and Financial Aid

For three years I had to pay arround 22000 per year including all tution and other fees which is fair to what we get in return for general quota. But if you have reservations, you can get scholarship, free waiver and other benifits. I even have seen my classmate having all of there college fee be paid from scholarship.

Campus Life

5

There weren't much annual and technical festival which was a point of disappointment for me particularly. Library services was also good and had sufficient books relevant to our course but lacked journals.

Admission

Actually, while taking admission I had got multiple opportunities but this college was one of the best in our city as well other colleges where I could get admission were far from my residential area so due to commute problem and it being one of best in City I choosed it.

Faculty

4

As there was a lot of crowd in our batch , classes felt crowded but despite this I saw faculty trying their's best to communicate and connect with each of us. Exams are to be conducted by University which is a lot of pain , they didn't conducted an investigation even after a huge mass of students were failed in a particular paper ',arround 80%'.

Interview Experience

4

Yes I was subjected to test prior to the admission, with requiring criteria of 70% , in which I was able to secure 90% . We also had group discussion and interviews during our practical examination in form of viva to externals.

Night Life

1

Our college was not a resident one means we were day scholars and we didn't got like to live the hostel life in our college. There are no gyms but a cafeteria is constructed last year which serves as a place of retreat for us inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I would rate my course curriculum a total of 7 out of 10. since old curriculum is only being followed, most of the recent technologies and lab are not updated, and also course is based on old researches that needed to be reverified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Geology is a very good course if one wants to pursue in person it will give you theoretical as well as practical knowledge of what's going inside the earth as well as outside the earth. I was fascinated by the topics that we had to study like remote sensing about the types of rocks etc. Areas of improvement here should be more effective teaching and more explanation needed for topics which are important for day-to-day life.

I had actually two options to choose after my 12th that is 1.maths. 2.statistics as I am more interested in mathematics field so I started doing some research on these two subjects and I found that it you want to go in the teaching line then you must opt mathematics and for research field also but if you want to have job in your earlys then you can opt statistics as It will open both the corporate and government sector for your job and if you higher studies in this course ghen you can go upto data scientist if you have skills or else there are several government posts like statistical investigator from (ssc CGL ) and iss (Indian statistical officer) from upsc government exam
