Just a good College

I am interested in computer applications and coding that's why I took this course. Faculty of my department are good.Students in this course in my batch was 120(two classes ).The teaching methods are very easy to understand by the students faculty members are very friendly in nature students can interact with them easily without any fear doubts are cleared at any time. Per year there are 2 semester will be conducted one model one internal and one practical It will be easy to pass, exams are easy. During my course duration it was out of 50 but i think now it has increased.

campus placement is available in the college. they have a placement officer who helps in gathering students for many reputed companies. From 3year they are eligible for placement. More companies visited our college last year i think comoared to this year and they made more offers. One more sem is there I think many companies will come in that time. The student should have an average percentage of 60 to attend the placement interview. 60 to 70 per cent of students are getting placed yearly with a minimum package of 3 lakh to 10 lakh. I like to get places in a good it company after my degree.

As a student admitted under the management quota for a BCA course, my annual fees include ?26,500 for tuition and ?5,000 for admission, with no additional charges for caution, registration, development, or lab fees. However, my peers in courses like Microbiology and Biochemistry are required to pay lab fees(not fully sure).Fees for students from other backward categories are significantly reduced, with some paying as low as ?21,000, especially if they achieved 80% or above in their previous qualifications like HSC. Numerous scholarships and financial aid options, such as merit-cum-need scholarships, are available to support students from various backgrounds, further easing the financial burden.

Campus life has taken a downturn under the current principal. While we still celebrate Onam, Pongal, and have the college fests COSAC and CODAC, these events are fewer and less enjoyable. From what I've heard from seniors and alumni, campus life was more vibrant and fun with numerous events and activities before the current principal. The decrease in programs has somewhat impacted the overall student engagement and excitement on campus.

The hostel facilities provide basic amenities such as a bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe, while the food quality is average and often challenging for students from Kerala. The registration process is simple and the accommodation is affordable. Alternatively, there are several PGs available nearby in a generally safe locality, offering more choices but with similar food challenges.

I didn't apply for any other coollege, I just applied here fees was very low compared to other colleges, mallus was many, thought it will be good so i joined. 12th pass and maths is not compulsary for my course, usally for bca admission they ask maths here no need.Application forms can be done online and offline now.By contacting the college, if you reserved a seat it is only for you.The admission process is also very simple and they do not make any time lag in completing the process.

The teaching will be average according to our department. Only a few teachers have better knowledge and other teachers know only the content of their subject. They are not better at explaining. The course curriculum is relevant and provides the proper knowledge, and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 90%. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.In my department, all staff members were really nice and very good. For any problem related to college or studies, they were the go-to persons.Each semester includes one internal exam, one model exam, and the main exam. The exam pattern was good: 10 one-mark questions, 5 three-mark questions, and 5 five-mark questions. Some teachers are very liberal, but others are very strict.

The admission process was straightforward and did not involve any group discussions, interviews, or written tests. It was a simple and hassle-free procedure, which made the application experience smooth and stress-free. This straightforward approach allowed me to quickly and easily secure my place without the pressure of additional assessments.

The nightlife around our college campus is quite subdued. Once the classes are over, most college facilities, such as the cafeterias and library, close with the college itself. The gym remains open until 6-7 PM, allowing students to get in a workout after classes. The campus isn't very large, but it does offer some peaceful spots where students can relax and unwind with friends after a day of classes.
