Course Curriculum Overview

4

From my point of view ,the course is good and engaging specially the computer science department which made me to choose this course Curriculum does not actually fully prepares us for real world applications like we are not taught the skills we require for our placements Course should be more towards demanding subjects, skills in the current and future scenario Exams are usually 3 times in a semsters, 2.mid semsters and one final semester exam ,they are of medium level difficulty

Internships Opportunities

3

There are many companies offering internships with and without stipend such as bharat intern ,tata consultancy services (tcs) codevita There are various hackathons happening in the college such as smart india hachathon

Placement Experience

4

From 3rd year students become eligible for internships and trainings programs and from.4th year they become eligible for placements Some of the Companies visited so far are wipro, tcs, paytm, and various startups 1 out of 5 students get placements depending upon the companies vacanies

Fees and Financial Aid

Yealry fees is 1,20,260 for btech ,additionally 6k is submitted as security fees which will be refunded at the end of 4th year Scholarships are granted from up government to the students whose parents are not from government services as follows- For gen 50kto 55k if family income is less than 2 lpa For obc 50k to 55k if income is less than 2 lpa For sc/st 120k to 126k if income is less than 3 lpa

Campus Life

3

Annual festivals like sanskriti surbhii having events like badminton tournament ,cricket tournament , basketball tournament, football tournament, chess championship, wrestling, kabaddie tournament, damce competition fashion show , singing competition There are libraries for each department such as tagore library for btech students, filled with books of each prospects

Admission

I applied to bbd nitm and here ,i got selected in both through counseling on the same day but after some thoughts and considering overall insights of both colleges ,i finally chose university of lucknow ,following are the reasons - *Government college *Scholarships are guarenteed provided if filled as soon as their forms are out *distance from my home to university is about 1.5km and that of bbd nitm would be around 20km ,saving time and money both and also from.a hectic schedule *faculty was good and talking with some students studying there ,they provided their point of views about the college Admission process at that time was though counselling though jee mains and cuet on merit basis but as of now i think they are ready for thier own entrance examination Eligibilty is that you should have passed 12th from a recognized institute

Faculty

4

Faculty to students ratio is 1:10,,faculty is indeed supportive and are available to help us whenever we face doubts , any student can reach the faculty teacher provided that they are of their departments or else there would be some hassle From my point of view ,if we have to consider then the engineering faculty is best there provided that i don't know much about other faculties ,they are best because of their supportive nature ,available everytime to solve our doubts and especially their understanding nature I didn't like much of law faculty as of the nature of lawyers and advocates, their ego and attitude of talking ,it's just the first impression is by talking For exams i should consider mid semesters also So there are two mid semesters plus final exams Mid semesters are of 20 marks each subjects And the best out of two mid semsters is considered in result making Final exams are of 70 marks Plus 10 marks are of teacher assessment including attendence and overall class impression and assignments Total of 6 subjects are there plus their labs Difficulty of exams is not the real topic ,fact is if you study well throughout semster then it's easy ,if you study and enjoy alsoo then its between easy and tough and if you enjoy only then it's tough inspite of which you can pass easily if youstudy important topics previous year questions Course curriculum is not that relevant i think ,as companies demand dsa and web development and other skills which college don't teach ,so it's difficult for student to do well in academics as well as in skills

Night Life

4

Gym is there which is open for boys and girls both in different timings For boys it is 6 to 7 am and 7 to 8 pm For girls it is 7 to 8 am and 6 to 7 pm There are 3 canteens provided There are 2 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girs of each department Hangout places are various in college and outside Such as there are various parks in tge college and also outside the colleges Locality is indeed safe at night not considering the stray dogs

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

i would rate the course curriculum as moderately relevant and avg in comprehensiveness . it covers core subjects and includes labs , which helped me choose jobs and further studies through it lacks depth in newer technologies. exams are held twice per sem plus internals and they are generally manageable if you study regularly
