A short real story of my graduation college.

As our college is autonomous, it has it's own curriculum which follows the instructions of JNTUK of Andhar Pradesh. Our college curriculum has 5 subjects and 2/3 labs for each semester. We have exams for each subject in the semester. Before the semester, we have internal examinations for subjects and labs exams also. Our curriculum has more preference to the subject knowledge only. Practical knnowledge is low when compared to the subject knowledge. Pass pecentage is so good in the semester examinations of our college.

Our college is so poor in providing internships to the students in the third year or final year. Afew startup companies are tied-up to us to give the internships. As we're from ECE background student, our college provides internship from the Robo-Coupler Private Limited company. This company provides internship for 2 months for everyone in a batch-wise. And there is also another intership provided from BSNL telecom services in Visakhapatnam for students who were had backlogs. And there are interships for other department students according to their brach-wise.

In our college, there is a placment team which is thoroughly checks the educational status of the students through academic marks and mock exams by them. In this way, our college opportunities for every student to attend the drive. Due to recession and many other issues placements are so less in our college. Mostly very few companies have visited to our college, attend their drives and selected afew students among us. Very few MNC comapanies like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant were visited to our college and rest of the companies are manufacturing comanies only. Many students were not placed in our college as compared to the strength of the students.

In our college, fees is 70,000Rs for one academic year(2 semesters), and there is also some other fees like semester fees, lab fees in the first year. Later we don't have any lab fees, we have only regular fees like mentioned above. Mostly we all are eligible for scholarship, in which our previous government provides scholarship for us which was credited as 4 quarters per academic year. In our final year there is no scholarship from govt, so we paid our money for the final academic year.

Our college is surrounded in 40-50 acres of land in the out-skirts of the city. As our college is so good to see and environment is so peaceful. Having all those things, our college is mainly concentred on the studies, they give less preference to other activities. There is a NCC and NCS clubs in our college.Through these clubs many students are learn about the other things more than bookish knowledge. There is also dance clubs, sports clubs, arts clubs in our college, but our college gives less preference to those clubs.

I choosed this college, because of it's placements and also our college have very good environment among all the colleges nearer to me. Our college is loacted in the boundaries of two districts which are Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam. I'm a native of Vizianagaram, so this Raghu College is so nearer to me when compared to other colleges. And also our college has good fame because of it's placements in previous years before the corona and recession. To get admission in our college, there is two ways. One is getting good rank in Entrance exam( EAMCET) which is conducted by AP goverment every year and the second one is to join in the college by getting admission through donation/management quota. In the same way, I got the admission in our college by writing entrance exam(EAMCET) by the AP govt and I got the fees reimbursement.

Our college consists of lot of Ph.D holder professors and also a regular graduate faculties. Most of the Ph.D professor teaches classes with so much of accurate knowledge. One of them are Dr.D Ram Sandeep sir, he is our final year project head who teaches us the project with practical knowledge and our project guide is Mrs. M Meena Kumari mam, she is our guide. She has very good knowledge in our core subjects. She also teaches us in our academic subjects. There is also many good faculties with lots of knowledge in our core subjects of ECE department.

There is a canteen in our college, which is not better to say but it is ok. There is no specific things to say about our college, the only thing is overall environment will be good. Bigger buildings, greenary of the park nearer to the labs is so good, and also a cricket stadium. Centre of it's, there is temple which is so peaceful and good. Mostly our college is so beautiful to see in the night view, which is daily experieces by the hostelers after their dinner.
