Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are no such aspects that influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum is quite outdated compared to developing technology like 4.0 technology, but it is evolving. The areas of development would be in the repititive appearance of same topics again and again. The frequency of exams is pretty often and difficulty level would be easy .

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many internship opportunities provided by the college from foreign universities and companies in which stripends rang upto 1 lakh. Not only internship oppurtunities but also there are research oppurtunities. Some of the facilities are CERN.

Placement Experience

3

Placement opportunities open up from the sixth semester. And the basic criteria would be nil arrears. And eligibility criteria it's different from each company. The highest package provided was 24 lakhs per Annum Some of the companies that would visit are Amazon, Infosys, tech Mahendra, Bosch and many other companies. I don't know about the percentage of placements , and it can't be accurate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tuition for IT for me is ?96,600 per year as i had good cpm and i had written entrance and i've paid caution fee of ?5000 and many of my batchmates pay the tuition fee around ?1 lakh per semester. The fee may vary due to the time of joining and marks scored. The total tuition fee completing the course would be ?3,86,400 for me excluding hostel fees.

Campus Life

5

For me, the infrastructure of the college is quickly unlikable.Although there are various clubs Like drama club like drama club, arts club,Music club and various other clubs. Each class is provided with a projector for teaching classes and each department is provided with a library of their own. Sports is not given very much importance. There are so many events which is conducted by the college and also by students. And the most important fest happens in February, which is called lavaza.

Hostel Facilities

3

For me the room and facilities with the room like stdy tables for each one in the room are good and about the food,i personally don't like hostel food. The hostel fee may vary by choosing the type of room like A/c or non a/c.The registration process it very easy. You choose and book.

Admission

I applied for other colleges like SRM but i chose this this college. To be honest, this college was introduced to be by my senior so that's why I have joined this college. And another factor that pushed me to join the college was the fee structure , which was very less compared to a SRM.The Admssion process is pretty simple And there's no such thing as donation fees here . If you join earlier and have a good cutoff you can make it easy into the college.

Faculty

3

There are plenty of faculties in the university. And wach one is different from one another and the teaching method also varies from from one another. Most of the faculties are easy to approach. Some of the faculties try to show they are superior to the students and some are very friendly and guiding.Based on the course you have chosen the internal exams may range from either 2 or 3 exams. Most of the exams can be cleared easily. The curriculum iss very much relevant to the course.

Night Life

5

Unlike any other colleges, each student have each timing for the classes. As each course is chosen by the students by themselves. So the timing would be different for everyone. Each hostel is provided with one gym. And there are many hangover areas around hostels. For me , it's a teastall. The hostel intiming is 9.30pm.

Other Applied Colleges

SRM Institute of Science and Technology - [SRMIST] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Information Technology)

Because of fee structure.
