One of the best department at PSGR Krishnammal college is English Department. The curriculum and the syllabus are very well planned. I did both my UG degree and PG Degree there and the syllabus would be from basic to complex.

They conduct placement programs every year. We even had Personality Development Program at every Saturdays. In these programs they would teach us how to crack the interviews and gives us an experience where one would face the interviews with courage

I was an aided student, so my fees would be around Rs .10,000 per year. The admission and exam fees would differ from department to department and the fees has to be paid at the college office. Our college would give scholarship for special category students from SC and ST.

I personally feel very much lucky to study English Literature. I have learnt lot of life lessons. The professors taught us lots of values and those values and life lessons were very much useful for me to run my life.

I came to know about this college only through my Parents. They knew what is best for me and what is not. It is very difficult to get into aided batch at Krishnammal, but I luckily got into it. I didn't apply to any other colleges.

The faculty to student relationship is very good and the staffs are very friendly. One could easily approach any staff, particularly in English Department and they would ve very welcoming and they would appreciate on what we do .

I initially stayed at college hostel. At Krishnammal the college hostel is very strict and the college will not be located inside the College. The college has a Main hostel which is located at Hope college and 9 other additional hostels which would be located around Peelamedu in 9 different places. Main hostel building is older building and the hostel format would be old , but the students would have free spaces to roam around,but at additional hostel would literally be like a jail . One could never come outside even to get enough air .
